29. Worried

Cronus POV

   After leaving the warehouse I went straight to my room to take a shower. I checked Phenny first and good thing she's still asleep. Kailangan ko pang kausapin ang mga natirang maids. I know after I loose control alam kong nagkaroon na sila ng matinding takot sa akin ngayon. I need to know where their loyalty lies.

   I tried to control myself back then but hearing how she flaunt a relationship that didn't exist in front of my princess that was the last draw. Rage came in and all I want to do is to punish her till I am satisfied.

  Pagkatapos kong magbihis bumaba ako and went straight to the kitchen. Nagiging meeting area na namin ito ng mga kasambahay ko ah. I saw Troy, he is also waiting for me there.

  I sat at the chair while Manang Tacing and the other maids are facing me, mga nakatungo. Napansin ko si Mang Julio na nasa gilid lang ng kitchen nagmamasid.

  "Sino na ang gustong mag resign, come forward, hindi ko kayo pipigilan. I'll give you a year worth of your pay and also a separation pay". Bungad ko agad sa kanila. I waited na may unang maglakad palapit sa akin but a minute left no one moves.

   People in the business world call me ruthless and a devil in disguised but still I can proudly say I am a good employer. The lowest salary of my maid is around ten thousand at nag iincrease depends on how they do their job well plus different kind of benifits na hindi nila makukuha sa iba.

   Just like Manang Tacing's salary is around 60K a month because she already served us for more than 30 years kahit si Mang Julio ay nasa 40K na rin a month at lahat ng sahod nila ay nakukuha nila ng buo dahil ako na din ang nagbabayad ng sss and philhealth nila. Daig pa nila ang nagtatrabaho sa ibang bansa.

  Still dead silence. I looked at Troy na nagkibit balikat lang.

  "Mika, come here".

  Tumingin muna si Mika sa tiyuhin nya. Bakas ang takot sa mukha nya at alam ko kung bakit. Nakita ko ang pagtango ni Mang Julio at agad na naglakad si Mika papunta sa akin.

  I took out a bundle of one thousand pesos out of my pocket and handed to her.

  "Sir pina paalis nyo na po ba ako?". Umiiyak na tanong nito sa akin.

  "No it's my reward to you... I don't need to hear the details pero alam kong tinulungan mo si Ma'am Phenny mo habang pinaghihirapan sya. You don't have to be afraid". Mahinahon kong sabi dito.

  "Maraming salamat po Sir Cronus". Walang tigil ang pagtulo ng luha nito pero mababanaag na ang ngiti sa mga labi nya.

  "No it should be me who should thank you, dahil sinunod mo ang utos ko to take care of my princess for me while I'm away, kahit pati ikaw ay naparusahan ng babaeng yun". I smiled at her. I will keep this person on Phenny's side this will be her people.

  I took my seat again and Mika went straight to her uncle. I saw him bow down a little that means his thanking me and I smiled. Alam nya ang silent rule ng old Montague clan. We reward those who help us and punish those who sin against us. I looked at Manang Tacing and she nod. Mang Julio also need a reward.

   "From now on anything that will happen to Phenny gusto kong ipapaalam nyo sa akin. If she gets hurt or sick or lonely or crying. I want to know every little things that's happening to her, understood!".

  "Yes Sir Cronus".

  In sync ang sagot.

  "Treat her with utmost respect tulad ng pag respeto nyo sa akin".

  "Yes Sir Cronus".

  "Let her do whatever she wants as long as hindi sya masasaktan"

  "Yes Sir Cronus".

  "Gusto nyo bang tanggalan ko kayo ng trabaho ngayon?".

  "Yes Sir Cronus".

  "What!?".

  "Hindi po pala Sir Cronus!".

  Troy laughed and so do I.

  After that small meeting pinuntahan ko ulit si Phenny. Nag aalala ako dahil baka sumakit na ang ulo nya kakatulog.

  I knocked but no one answered. Naisip ko baka tulog pa rin kaya pumasok na ako but she's not on her bed anymore.

  "Princess... Princess where are you?". I panicked when no one answered.

   Where did she go?. I mumbled to myself. Natakot na ba sya and decided to run away?.

   No.... She can't run away from me. I took my phone out to call Troy and ask him to do a search operation. As I turned nakita ko si Phenny nakatayo na sa isang sulok.

" Cronus.... Bakit?".

  She asked with confusion and innocence habang ako naman ay nakatulala sa kanya. I dropped my phone and run to her. Niyakap ko sya ng mahigpit at nagpakawala ng isang malalim na hininga.

  "I was so worried akala ko umalis ka na, saan ka ba nag punta?".

  "Jumebs".
