SARA'S POV: Ever since I got my haircut which was probably a while ago now, I've been questioning my gender. I've told Jess that I've been questioning my gender but I haven't told her that I'm pretty sure I've figured it out.
I'm non binary and my pronouns are they/them
Yes that feels right. That's who I am. That's me. I'm non binary and my pronouns are they/them. I need to tell Jess and then I'll announce it to the public.
I look for Jess all over the house and finally find her in the garden with the kids. I walk over to her and ask to speak to her. Here goes.
" is everything ok my love" Jess says in a concerning tone
"babe I need to talk to you about something" I say
"what's wrong my love" Jess says
" you know how I've been questioning my gender, I've think I've finally figured it out" I say
"Aww that's great news, I'm proud of you, so what do you feel like you are then" Jess says happily
"I'm non binary" I say proudly
"Awww, I'm so proud of you, I'm so proud of you for figuring it out. so what are your pronouns" Jess says
"thank you beautiful, I'm pretty proud of myself too. my pronouns are they/them" I say proudly
"Your welcome handsome and that's great, are you thinking about changing your name or do you want to keep it as Sara" Jess says to me
"I'm probably going to keep it as sara because I really like my name but thank you for asking about that, I appreciate it Jess" I say
"Your welcome handsome, I love you so much, come here and give me a kiss" Jess says
We then kiss and then pull away.
JESSICA'S POV: We pull away from the kiss after sara tells me that they are non binary and their pronouns are they/them and I'm so happy for them, I'm so happy that they've come out to me. I decide to ask whether they are coming out to the public.
"Babe are you going to come out to the public" I say
"Yes I am, I think I will do it tonight, I'll set up a post about it and put it on Instagram" Sara says
"Ok brilliant, I can help you if you would like" I say
"Yes please, I would love that, thanks babe" Sara says while smiling
"Yeah of course I will help you" I say
"Thanks Jess" Sara says
"Your welcome" I say
SARA'S POV: Its a little later on in the day, me, jess and the kids have just spent some time in the garden together and then we went to the shopping mall to get some food, my pregnancy bump is getting bigger and the baby is moving more which is a good sign. Me and Jess have been thinking of some names for the baby. We've only really thought of girls names but soon we will find out the sex of our baby and we can't wait.
Jess helped me set up a post and I'm about to post on Instagram about my gender and my pronouns, let's hope people support me.

Within the space of 10 mins so many people were commenting, sharing, liking and just supporting me for who I am and I'm so happy that I've now come out as non binary.
