Y/n was sitting down on the couch, reading a book because there was nothing better for her to do.

The world was ending and they were just letting it happen. So what was better than just joining them and relaxing until the universe did what it was doing best. Ending. Maybe the universe was suicidal and it proved to the siblings that it didn't want to be saved. Just let it happen at this point.

Her alone time was interrupted by a certain number four who ran up to her with a big smile. Which was weird for a time like this but she shrugged it off.

"Y/n! Listen!"

Her eyes didn't leave the paper. "I'm listening."

He rolled his eyes and waved off her behaviour. "You're going to think this is weird-"

"When it's you, anything is weird," she muttered in between his words that he didn't hear.

"-but I can't die!" She paused her reading and looked at the same word fifteen times until she stared at the man who just said the impossible. His eyes were wide, copying the look of shock on her face. He begin to nod with his mouth slightly open. "I know! I couldn't believe it either." She slit her eyes to really focus on the individual.

She found the words she wanted to say but honestly, they weren't the ones Klaus was expecting. "What the fuck?"

He sighed, putting on hand on his hip, acting as though he told this story fifty times already. "Papa Hargreeves had to kill me like fifty plus times. Also, it's unbelievable the amount of people that would hit someone with a bus and not turn around-"

She lifted a hand for him to stop talking. "Hold up, you got hit by a bus? Klaus, you're implying that you're immortal." She understood that they all had powers but he was talking about something mythological gods had. Key word being myth. He wasn't fazed by her wording and only nodded when she asked her question.

"I am."

The world was ending, her friend is immortal, her friend's brother's (Diego) son (Stan) looked nothing like him. At this point anything could go. It was surprising that she was even in the slightest shocked. She shook her head, relaxing back into her seat and opened back up her book and picked up where she left off. She couldn't help but mutter a comment. "You're odd, you know that."

His smile never faltered. "Thank you."
