au kinda. season 6 actually didn't happen. jay and nya aren't dating. set post s10 pre s11. jay is not friends with cole but rather lloyd. nya and cole aren't dating but still talk very intimately and cole and jay are just mutal friends/teammates. they made up they just haven't forgotten the past.

The sweat that rolled down his face was the aftermath of him wiping it.

It was almost never-ending and the extreme amount of pressure didn't help. He had been seeing a girl for a while now and they made it official a couple of weeks ago. Today was their first date as a couple and Jay couldn't be any less nervous than he was.

She was raised in the best things possible and to come any short of that was an insult. He dressed in the best suit that he owned and made Zane do his hair. Lloyd picked out the best perfume and Kai was the director of all of this. From the date to the outfit he wore. He orchestrated everything.
Cole, was against this entire thing. But he didn't say anything because Jay and him weren't close enough to be doing those type of things— like looking out for each other.

They were.

Until Cole went behind his back and dated his girlfriend.
That put Jay in a weird place between Nya and Cole. The two people he loved, whom he had trusted the most, stabbed him mercilessly in the back.

For what reason?

That was the question all wanted to know.

Despite all of that, Jay never gave up in the thought of love. That was why he showed up to take Y/n on a date.

His roses were fresh and bright in the night sky. He held them tightly out of fear of how the night may go but he was optimistic. He had to be anyways.
The door opened after the tone of the doorbell went off. She presented herself in all of her glory, wearing the most expensive of expensive dresses in the market.
Now, how did Kai get in touch with her was beyond him. That didn't matter. What mattered was that his girlfriend was his to call his own and a beautiful one in fact.

His smile was wide, touching opposite ears, teeth glinting under the sunset.
She was just as excited, clapping her hands in joy as she grabbed the flowers from him. She took a whiff and sighed in contentment. That was a good sign.

She invited him in which made him slit his eyes and grow a frown.

"Wasn't I choosing the place?" He questioned. She nodded, but then she giggled behind her hand.

"Yes. But we are going in a different vehicle. Don't wanna be seen in a ninja vehicle!" She walked away to put the flowers in a vase and asked one of her house maids to take care of it. She pivoted, gesturing for him to come over.
She would be right if he brought a ninja vehicle. Instead, he took one of the nicer cars designed by him and built by him and the nindroid couple.
