Rome POV

"I'ma be there in a second and don't forget to bring a bathing suit ." I hung up on Destiny.

I was on my way to get her right now.

I admit last night was fun till that dumb nigga had to come and mess shit up.

I can't believe his ass put his hands on Destiny.

She don't deserve that bullshit.

I ain't park the car in front of her house good before she came out the house.

"Damn, are you in a hurry?" I chuckled and started up the car.

"My parents were arguing and I didn't want to hear it." she shrugged.

"We gotta get some gas before we go get Brina." I told her.

She nodded her head.

We ain't say anything the whole ride to the gas station.

"Rome!" I turned around to see who was calling my name.

I was just bout to get back in the car.

It was Diane.

I haven't talked to her in a while. She still looked good.

"Yeah?"

"How you been?" she asked me.

"Pretty good, how bout you?"

"I could be better but I'm making it." she nodded.

"Rome, I just wanted to tell you I'm sorry for all the trouble I've caused you." she looked down.

"It's whatever." I shrugged.

"You two make a cute couple, odd but cute."

I didn't say anything.

"I'll see you later." she smiled at me one last time before she walked away.

"What did she want?" Destiny asked me soon as I got in the car.

"Nothing, we was just talking." I shrugged.

"Last time y'all was talking she told you she had a STD." she looked at me with a attitude.

"She ain't say nothing like that." I smacked my lips.

"Mhm." Destiny looked out the window.

"Aw, that's cute." I smiled.

"What's cute?"

"You being jelous." i answered.

"Nobody is jealous." she smacked her lips.

"Whatever you say Destiny. " I snickered and started up the car.

"Stay in outside so we can surprise Brina. " I told her as I knocked on the front door.

She nodded her head.

"Hey Rome, Sabrina should be out in just a seco-" he was cut off by Brina

"Romey!!" I heard her yell as she c a me running toward me.

I picked her up and spun her around.

"You ready to go?" I asked her.

She nodded her head and I put her down.

"I gotta surprise for you but you gotta close your eyes."

She closed her eyes and I put my hands over em cause I knew she would be peeking.

Destiny walked in and I took my hands from Brina's eyes

"Desi!!! " she ran up to her.

"I missed you Brina. " Destiny said as they hugged.
