Rashell

Chapter 3

It's a Monday so they dress for school as always. This time Rashell puts on earring for the first time. She dresses to match her earrings.

       Car beeps     

Uncle Juan is in to drive them to school. On their way, Mr and Mrs Olivares phones Rashell's tablet. 

              Video call

''Hola! I miss you  guys.''

''We miss you too mama.''

''Hope you're all doing great because your dad and myself are very fine.''

''Si mama.''

'' Let me to talk the others''

 ''Mama i miss you soo much.'' Says Ian

''I miss you too sweetheart. Your dad wants to talk to you.''

'' Rodrigo como estas?''

'' Bien papa y tu?''

'' Bien. Hope you don't let your sisters talk too much''

''No papa. When will you come?''

''Next week'' Says Mrs Olivares.

''Mama dont forget the latest wrist watch you promised us.'' Says Phibel

''Tell me the colours you all prefer.''

             Rashell chooses blue and black, Lupita chooses brown and Phibel chooses pink. Funny enough, Ian says, ''boy colour'' which makes them burst into laughter.

''We're here, its time to say goodbye to your parents.''

''Mama, papa, we're in school, we love you both and bye.''

They walk out of the car and part to their various classes. Teaching and learning is ongoing. Miguel ignores Rashell because she refused to attend the party with him'.

                       Cafeteria

''Miguel''

''What do you want?'' 

''Don't talk like that. I'm sorry i didn't follow you to the party. I'll make it up to you, i promise.''

'' You keep doing this Rashell. I'm hurt and not in the mood to talk to you. I want to eat in peace and alone.''

''Sure, i'll let you be.''

          On Rashell's way to find herself a table, Isabel intentionally pours her milkshake on Rashell's hoodie.

''Oh, i'm sorry, didn't see. She says with a grin. I can help you clean it up.''

''That will be a waste of time. You look ugly when you give a fake grin.'' Rashell says and walks away to clean up.

Paulo a nerd who admires Rashell alot notices her earring and wants to approach her but reminds himself a nerd like him doesn't need distraction. Rashell picks a clean green sweart shirt in her locker and changes into it in the ladies room. She gets back to the cafeteria and eyes can't be taken off her curvy hips since the sweart shirt doesn't cover her as much as the hoodie she always wear does. Enjoying her meal alone, a video pops up on her phone. She taps it and it's a video of Isabel and Miguel, her boyfriend smooching so hard. 

          Rashell angrily scuttles to Isabel and lands a slap on her face. Everyone turns to their direction and is confused with what is happening. 

''You bitch! Aren't you ashamed of yourself for taking what isn't yours?''

'' Ashamed? Don't you think it's silly to use such a word hahahahaha ah well, i dont have time for this shit!''

'' A whore like you!'' Rashell yells at her and walks out of the cafeteria.

     Miguel hears about the incident and immediately he gets the video,  he rushes to Rashell who is heading to her locker.
