Two months already and Rashell has totally stayed away from her friends and is always with Xavier.
Upcoming prom and people sign up for prom King and Queen including Rashell and Xavier. On Friday exactly seven pm, prom starts.
Prom Hall
The prom is being held at one of the expensive hotels in New York and not in the school. There's also red carpet where students take pictures with their dates.
A black Rolls Royce parks Infront of the building, distracting the crowd. The chauffeur walks out of the car and opens the door of the car.
A young good-looking tall guy walks out with his right foot first in a black brogues.
He walks out and standing, he buttons his back suit, fixes his blue black tie properly with his hands. He rubs his hands into his black curly hair distracting the camera men to his direction.
He moves from the door of the car and standing on the right he stretch-forths his hand as a beautiful slim girl walks out in a sleeveless black one-shoulder midi dress and blue black stiletto.
The girl's hair dyed dark blue and styled in a chignon with crystal hair clips and dangly black earrings with dark caramel lipstick shade and a light make up on her face with a noise piece.
Elegant, exquisite, refining, sooo gorgeous all the adjectives you would use to describe beauty is her.
No one ever thought she could dress that way and show up with Tyron. The girl been described is Beverlyn.
A day before Prom
The day before Prom, Beverlyn and the guys spoke to Tyron that, they think Rashell is with Xavier to get back at him and so they plan to get back at them.
Tyron agreed and so they decided to show up at prom together in matching colour outfits and act like a couple.
Prom
Camera men keep taking pictures. On the other hand is, Xavier and Rashell who arrived about five minutes ago.
Tyron holds Beverlyn's waist with her hand resting on his chest and head on his shoulder. They stare at eachother romantically.
Rashell feels uncomfortable just by looking at them but she tries not to show it. Xavier on the other hand doesn't care after all he's got Rashell next to him.
Rashell is in a turquoise spiral gown, red velvet lipstick shade, blue shiny platform, hoop earrings and her hair styled in french twist and wearing her glasses.
She looks good but not as good as Beverlyn appears. Beverlyn and Tyron by pass them without making eye contact.
" I need water. I'll be back."
" Alright. I'll be inside."
Rashell hurries to the car park and after taking in two bottles of water, she leans on the car and deep in her heart are scars of love.
" Are they dating now?" She whispers to herself .
She keeps asking herself and tears begin to flow down her cheeks. She cries her heart out. After staying calm, she wipes her tears and encourages herself to be strong and headed inside to the ball room.
Prom is already going as planned, soo fun. People dancing and having the best of time. Everyone is present. It's time for slow dance with your partner.
" Would you love to dance with me?"
" Of course, I would love to."
Beverlyn replies as they walk to the dance floor happily. They danced till it was time to announce Prom King and Queen.
"Good evening ladies and gentlemen. You all look stunning this evening b. The nominees for Prom King and Queen are:
Mirabelle and Winston
Davis and Daniella
Kelvin and Hillary
Marilyn and David
Rashell and Xavier
And lastly, Tyron and Beverlyn. "
The students cheer up all waiting to hear who the Prom King and Queen would be.
" Tyron and Beverlyn? They didn't sign up so why are their names there?"
" They must have done this on a purpose."
" I bet."
A conversation between Xavier and Rashell.
" The winner for Prom King and Queen iss.... Tyron and Beverlyn!!!"
Students cheer them up as they walk up stage. With their crowns on their heads, Beverlyn says something short.
" Thank you everyone for making a dream come true. I love you all."
" Woooo!!!' Students cheer and clap.
" Tyron do you have anything to say?"
He takes the microphone
" Umm... it's good to be Prom King with the most beautiful girl tonight in this room, Beverlyn, my Prom Queen."
" You did it bro!!" Kane shouts
They laugh and cheer them up till they hit the dance floor and the music continued to play.
After the Prom King and Queen had their dance together, the rest joined to dance.
Xavier and Rashell are hurt they didn't get to be crowned Prom King and Queen.
" This is annoying."
Xavier angrily leaves Rashell alone to clear his mind. Lonely, she walks around and finds Beverlyn all by herself enjoying her drink.
" Happy to have the crown right?"
" Who else wouldn't be happy to have it? Are you here to congratulate me or not?"
" Of course not. A whore like you don't deserve to have the crown. It's sooo obvious you're throwing yourself at him. Especially now and they day you hugged him so dearly."
" Are you that lonely? Isn't Xavier Martin, your partner suppose to be with you? And by the way, what goes on between Tyron and I is none of your business and don't ever call me a whore cause I ain't one."
Tyron appears out of nowhere.
" Sorry to interrupt your convo but Rashell, I need to take my woman away."
They smile at her and walk away. Rashell stands there like a fool. She couldn't even utter a word. She walks away embarrassed and bumps into Sun.
" Sorry."
" No need."
She looks at Sun and runs out of the room. Sun shrugs her shoulders and walks away.
After prom, Beverlyn and the boys meet at Tyron's home for some barbecue and cheered themselves for their plan turning out to be the best.
Having fun at the backyard, Bryce, Tyron's cousin who arrived from Canada a week ago surprises him .
Door bell rings
Tyron hands Jason the tongs and heads inside.
" See who I have here tonight.."
" Hey it's been ages."
" I know right. What a surprise visit. Come in."
They hug.
" When did you return to the States?"
" Last week. Where's Emily?"
" She's gone back to the army."
At the backyard, Bryce meets the boys whom he met a year ago. Beverlyn returns with wine in her hand.
" Back with some wine to cheer ourselves up." She announces.
She makes eye contact with Bryce, whom she hasn't met before but have heard one or two things about him.
She hands Jason the wine and they have a wonderful night together.
