I sit in the hackerspace one Tuesday evening, the same as always as I sit on the couch with my book open.

Since the others have gone to do their own thing, Josh always sits with me with his laptop to keep me company, u Dint know why since he surely has better things to do.

We usually sit in silence, but this evening Josh is mke fidgety than usual and keeps clearing his throat, occasionally looking over my shoulder at the page I'm on.

A few more minutes pass until I place my bookmark in my book (I'm not a dog earing monster!) as I stretch my arms above my head.

Suddenly Josh breaks the silence and begins rambling facts about my book, telling me his opinion on certain parts and how it all fits together.

I sit still staring at him, flabbergasted as I've never heard him say so much in such little time.

"No way, I thought the same thing!" I exclaim when he's finished, matching his chaotic nerdy energy.

"Why haven't you said anything before, I've been reading this book for a week?" I ask, tilting my head as he shrugs.

"You wasn't near the end until now" He says, I can't argue with that logic. Josh puts his laptop down as I pick up the book again, he scoots closer to me to read over my shoulder as I continue with the book.

As I read, I keep seeing Josh staring at me with a smile, his eyes warm as he watches. I finally finish the book an hour later, stunned as we both discuss it.

"I need to sequel like right now!" I screech excitedly.

"Let's go to the bookstore then, it closes in ten" Josh jumps up, grabbing my coat as we both dash towards the door.

It's so odd seeing Josh like this, but I think he's finally comfortable with me.
