Chapter 25

Mallory's POV

*3 weeks later*

"Mal get up, we're gonna be late." I heard

"Leave peasant unless you have food for me right now" I said not opening my eyes first

That's when I felt ice cold water splash on my face and jolted up. I rubbed my eyes and saw it was David. Last week, we decided to go back to the studio and start doing songs again. My manager Lisa was so happy and she's even taking in David now.

"What time is it?" I asked

"10:37 and we need to be there at 11" he said

"Oh crap, okay get out and I'll be ready in 10" I said

He nodded and walked out of my room shutting the door. I quickly washed my face, brushed my teeth, and used the bathroom. I put my hair up in a high ponytail and applies eyeliner and mascara and quickly went to my closet. I just decided on wearing high waisted light washed jeans and a crop sweater. I grabbed my phone and bag and went downstairs. I slipped on my vans and went to the kitchen where David was talking to Dad.

"I'm ready" I said

"Okay, let's go" he said grabbing his keys

"Thanks for watching Hannah today dad" I said before walking out

"No problem, have fun" he said

David drove to the studio and I smiled when walking into the building.

"Haven't been here in a while" I said

"Me and you both" David said looking around smiling

"Mallory! David! Right in here" Lisa said

We went into this room that just had a couch, 2 comfy chairs and a coffee table in the middle.

"Since we haven't been in contact for a while, let's start on your vocals in here and see if we can come up with any new songs" Lisa said

"Sounds good" David said and I agreed with him

*2 hours later*

"I remember that!" I said laughing my butt off

"You literally sang the whole song perfectly after so many tries to find out the mic wasn't on" David said laughing just as hard as me

"It's funny now, but at the moment I wanted to cry" I said

"Hey, at least the song still came out great" Lisa said laughing

"It's not as bad as David spilling his Starbucks all over the knobs and machines" I said remembering that day

"I thought my career was gonna end that day to be honest" David said and we all started laughing

"They were pissed, but luckily nothing broke" Lisa said

"Well I'll see you guys here next week and we can finish on the songs. Go home you two" Lisa said

"Okay, bye Lisa and thanks again for taking us in after all this time" I said

"Of course, you two are my fav" she said

"See you next week" David said. Me and David hugged Lisa and went out to the car.

"Let's go buy ice-cream at the store and watch movies at the house" David said

"You're such a girl" I teased

"Oh stop it" he said in a girl voice

I laughed and we drove to target. We went to the freezer section and went to the ice-cream.
