A change (sequel to New Beginning?)

Chapter 54

Me and David had the most wonderful time in Bora Bora. I had so much fun, that David basically needed to drag me into the taxi that was taking us to the airport.

"Bye bora bora" I said looking out the plane window.

The whole flight back, I either fell asleep for an hour and then watched a movie. We finally reached home and I was excited to see everyone again. As for my cough attack up in Bora Bora on the first day, I called my doctor and she said that I would be fine, but to see her when I get back.

"Mallory!" I heard little Hannah scream. She ran out and jumped into my arms. Then she went to David.

I hugged everyone else hello and went up to my room to my put my bags in.

I had an appointment tomorrow at the doctors and dad and Sarah was coming with me. David would've came, but I told him dad wanted to go and that he could come with me next time.

"I'm gonna go to sleep. In exhausted, so see you guys tomorrow" I said hugging everyone goodnight.

It was only 8, but I felt really tired.

David came up with me and we got ready for bed and laid down.

"Goodnight David" I said

"Goodnight baby" he said before we both drifted off to sleep.

I work up the next morning at 7 and washed up. Then I went downstairs and cut some fruit for me to eat. Sarah and Dad soon came down and I greeted them good morning before going up to my room to get ready.

As soon as I got ready, I headed downstairs to wait for Sarah guys. They came down 15 minutes later and we were off to my appointment.

"Mallory" Doctor Kelsey smiled

"Hey" I smiled hugging her

"Conor. Sarah" she said also hugging them.  "Come on in" she said leading us in.

We followed behind her and went to the familiar walls of one of the rooms.

"Conor, Sarah, you guys can wait here while I do the basic check up for Mallory. Then we can meet in here and discuss the latest news" she said and Conor and Sarah nodded.

I followed Doctor Kelsey and we didn't what any normal check would do. Checked my weight, my blood pressure, my ears, my throat, my knees, my spine. Then, we did an MRI which was next door.

Half an hour had passed and she ordered me to go in the room Sarah guys were left in. She said she would get the results, then meet me in the room.

I walked in and smiled to dad and Sarah.

"How was it?" They asked

"The same. But this time I took an MRI which I hadn't done since two months ago" I said

"An MRI?" Sarah asked nervously

"Yeah" I said "but I'm sure in fine" I smiled trying to make her less nervous

The doctor came in 10 minutes later with a face that made me kind of nervous. She didn't look really happy.

"What's wrong?" I asked once she shut the door.

She looked up at me with sorry eyes then sighed.

"Please sit" she said we all sat and she grabbed a chair and sat down as well.

"Your cancer... It grew. A lot" she said "it doesn't look like your mediation is working, so we're going to take you off of those" she said
