Chapter 31

*So I watched Jurassic World and I really liked Zach in it and I recently realized that I already used him in my book. The picture of the guy I put as David is Nick Robinson and I didn't know that till today and I'm like "Oh. Ok, shit" okay enough babbling and on with the chapter*

Mallory's POV

"I'm gonna go over next door to pick up Hannah" Sarah said

"Are you sure? I can go if you want" I offered

"No it's fine" she said

"Well okay" I said

Shawn and Megan had already left to start their perfect day together. Me on the other hand had nothing planned. David went home today to wash his clothes and pack new clothes since he just spends the night here. He said he would be back at 4 because he was gonna go lift for a while.

"Hey Kian!" I shouted

"Yeah??" I heard him yell back

"Do you wanna do something today ?" I asked

"Yeah I guess" he said

"I guess??" I questioned him

"I mean, of course!" He said laughing

(Do not think of their day out like a date. In this book, Kian is way older than Mal, even if he looks the same as he does in 2015)

I laughed and went to my room to get ready.

Ricky and Jc and Trevor and Sam are with their girlfriend which I haven't even met yet. Kian on the other hand was too lazy to go out with Ricky guys and stayed home.

I heard Sarah come home so I ran downstairs to see Hannah.

"What? Where's Hannah?" I asked

"She wanted to stay longer, so I said I would be back later this afternoon" Sarah said

"Dang, I miss that kid" I said

Sarah smiled and went upstairs after patting me on the shoulder. She went into dads room and I went upstairs once again and went to my room.
I did my business in my bathroom and went out to my closet to pick out an outfit. I wore striped t-shirt dress with a red flannel ties around the waist and some black laced up wedge boots. I brushed out my long hair and straightened it. I put on some perfume and went back to my bathroom to put on some make-up. Just the usual winged eyeliner, mascara, and foundation to hide the blemishes I had. Once I was done, I grabbed my purse, took my phone off the charger and went straight to Kians room.

I didn't bother to knock and went straight in. Luckily he was already dressed in a blue button up t-shirt that had tiny food on it and black skinny jeans with black and white converse.

I went to his bed and laid down while he went to his bathroom. I just played on my phone till he said "ready to go"

"Yup" I said. I sat up and followed him out the door. I said bye to dad and Sarah and went downstairs.

"Where exactly are we going ?" Kian asked

"I'm hungry" I said

"The wild beast Mallory is once again hungry" Kian said in a British accent.

"Shut up" I laughed and went out to the car. Kian turned on the radio and the first song to pop up was Whistle by Katy Tiz and I looked at Kian and he looked at me and we nodded. I turned it up and we jammed like it was nobody's business. All of our songs just kept popping up on the radio and it was just a blast.

We finally reached Kuros which is a pizza place. (Made it up, just go with me). Here, you can make your own pizza and choose how big you want it.

Kian went for a large pizza that had cheese, pepperoni, sausage, onion, olives, and mushrooms. I, on the other hand got a pepperoni pizza with spinach and cheese

After we told them our toppings, they gave us a number and we sat at a table and waited for our number to be called. Finally, our pizzas were ready so we stood up to get them. We sat back down and I almost drooled at the smell of the pizza.

I took a bite and it felt like heaven was in my mouth. "How does your pizza taste? Bet it's not as good as mine" Kian said

"Oh yeah? Try it" I said handing him a slice

He took it and traded me one of his. He wasn't wrong, his one was good, but I liked mines better. "It's good, but not as good as mines" he said

"I literally just said that in my head" I said laughing

After we finished eating, we got back into the car and went to the movies. We watched Jurassic World and I fangirled over Nick Robinson. (Hence my rant in the beginning)

The movie was good and we still had a lot of time left on our hands.

"Where's a place we can go that we haven't been to in a while? I asked

"Got it" Kian said and dragged me to the car. He started driving and I didn't bother to ask where we were going knowing that he wouldn't tell me. Once we passed this bush with the pink and purple flowers, I knew exactly where we were going. I didn't say anything thought and just kept quiet.

Finally Kin parked and we got out of the car. We were near the Doc and walked along the beach leaving out shoes in the car.

"This was a good place to come too" I started off "Haven't been here in a while with what's been happening" I said

"Remember when you ran away and came here? And stayed with this homeless man" he said

I laughed and nodded my head. "He was a nice man" I said

"Yeah, I remember" Kian said laughing "you scared the shit out of all of us"

"Well Conor scared me at the time" I said

"Didn't you drown here too?" Kian asked

"Oh yeah" I said laughing "a lot of crap happened to me here" I said

"I know" Kian said "you've been through so much things that I can't even remember how many things you went through, but look how you turned out" he said

"Aw thanks kian" I said

"Ugly and mean" he said and I gasped

"I'm kidding!" He said hugging me

"You're beautiful and sweet. Like who would take in a little girl from the woods which barely even happens" he said

I hugged him back and we continued to walk. "You guys help me and have been there for me through it all" I said

"And we're still here for you. Now and later" Kian said. He put his around my shoulder and I put mines around his waist. He scrunched my hair, but since it was in the moment, I didn't kill em.

"Speaking of Hannah. Doesn't she look like me? Like too much of me when I was young" I said

"She really does and I've noticed it and it creeped me out, but I didn't say anything" he said

"I've always thought she looked like me, but now it's scary" I said

"Why don't you get a blood test?" He asked

"Hannah hates needles" I said "But I'll talk to her about it and see if she would do if. If not, then I'll wait till she's older and drag her ass to the doctors" I said laughing at the last part.

Kian laughed "sounds good" he said

We walked and ended up on the peer. We sat at the edge and let our feet dangle off. After a little, me and Kian were in the mood for ice-cream. We went to the nearest ice-cream place and I got cotton candy and Kian got mint chocolate chip. We sat down on the bench till we finished and went home.

When we reached home, Hannah was home so I hugged her hi. So did Kian. Then I hugged Kian. "Thanks for today. It was good hanging out again" I said. He hugged back tightly and said "Thank you for asking and we should do this more often" then he left to go to his room.

I went to Hannah and sat down next to her. She was playing with her toys that she had and I just watched her. Then I got a text from David saying he was on his way over. I texted back 'see you then' and then I looked back at Hannah.

"Hannah?" I called out

She stopped playing and looked towards me.

"Yeah?"
