Sorry for the misspelling of 'Connors' name. I guess after taking like a 2 month break from writing, I didn't catch myself spelling his name wrong.

Mallory's POV

3 months later

"Hannah, are you ready?" I asked

"Yup!" She said trying to tie her shoe.

I smiled kneeling down to her level.

"Here" I said taking her laces "first, you take each lace and form them into their own bunny ears," I started off showing her "then you cross them to form an 'X', then you loop the bottom bunny ear over the top through the loop and pull" I smiled

"You did it!" She cheered and I laughed

"Your turn" I said

"Bunny ears.." She started concentrating on her laces "loop, pull!" She said excitedly. "I did it! I did it!" She exclaimed

I high fived her. "You deserve ice cream now" I said

"Cotton candy ice cream??" She asked with her eyes in excitement

"Yupp" I said popping the p'

"Yay!" She basically yelled.

I laughed at her cuteness and we went out to Sarahs car I was borrowing for the day. I strapped her in and got into the drivers seat.

"We're gonna meet up with your dad first, okay?" I told her and she nodded

"Can daddy have ice cream too?" She asked

"Duh, he's paying" I laughed and drove off

I saw the back of Max's car as I pulled into the ice-cram shop. I parked and carried Hannah out and walked towards Max. Max had a meeting for his new job he got recently and asked me to look over Hannah. Since his meeting finished early, I thought the three of could hang out.

"Dad!" Hannah shouted and Max smiled widely.

"Baby girl!" He shouted back opening his arms. Hannah squirmed out of my grip and I out her down and she ran to Max. Looking at their bond made me smile.

"Mal said you're paying" Hannah said and Max raised an eyebrow at me.

"I am?" He asked Hannah

"You are" I smiled and he laughed

"Of course, I was gonna offer anyway" he playfully rolled his eyes

We got into the ice cream shop and Hannah ordered her cotton candy ice cream and I got the same while Max got mint chocolate chip.

We sat down on a table and enjoyed our ice cream.

"Why don't we go check out that new park they built last week? I heard its two times bigger than the park we always go too" Max said

"Yeah!" Hannah beamed

"Sounds good to me" I laughed

That made Hannah chow down her ice cream real quick. Before we knew it, we were on our way to the park.

"Woah" I said looking at the park

"You can say that again" Max said looking at the park

"Woah" I said again

We found ourselves a perfect spot where we could still see Hannah. It was a comfortable silence till Max spoke.

"Are you planning these dates with us and everyone else as like a goodbye thing?" He asked sighing
