Chapter 29

Mallory's POV

I got up and realized I was on the floor. I sat up and my head ache was still there, but it wasn't as bad as before. I looked on my bed and I saw David on top on the other side.

"Well thanks for taking my bed" I said throwing my pillow at his face

He jolted up and looked at me "You're on the floor again" he said

"Again?" I asked

"Yeah" he laughed "At 12, you like rolled off the bed so I had to get up and pick you up. I didn't even hear you fall the second time" he chuckled

"Are you lying ?" I asked

"Nope" he said still laughing

"Wow, what medicine did you give me?" I asked laughing too

"Don't blame the medicine for this" he said

"Well let's go eat" I said

David left to go wash up and I washed up in my bathroom. I left my room and bumped into Shawn on my way out.

"Morning" I smiled

"Good morning. How're you feeling ?" He asked

"Better" I said

"Do you still have a head ache?" He asked

"Little, but I can handle this one" I said laughing slightly

"Well let's go down and eat" Shawn said slinging his arm around my shoulder

We walked down the stairs and I sat between Sam and Kian.

"Morning" I said

"Morning" they said in unison

"Bromance moment" I laughed

"Shut up" they said again in unison

I laughed and didn't say anything else. I put pancakes on my plate that Sarah made and drizzled some syrup on top. Then I poured myself orange juice. David was sitting across me and Shawn was by dad and Sarah talking to them about something. After we finished eating, I helped Ricky put away all the dishes into the dish washer. Then we joined everyone in the living room and watched The Duff.

The door bell rang and Shawn jolted up to get it. He came back with a cute girl that looked about our age.

"Guys, this is Megan" Shawn said

Everyone said hi and she sat down next to Shawn and have him a kiss. Oh.

I didn't mind though because I didn't like Shawn in that way. I was just surprised because I don't remember him telling me about her and he usually tells me everything.

"You wanna go swim ?" David asked

"I'll go with you outside and put my feet in." I said

"Okay, let's go" he said

We walked up stairs and went our separate ways to change. We came out and I asked David to just tie my top while I held it in place. When he finished, we went downstairs to the pool. We already had towels down there and sunscreen.

"Here, can you put it on my back?" David asked

"Yeah sure" I said taking the sun screen and putting all over his back.

"My turn" I said turning around

This sunscreen let's us go into the water right away and it doesn't turn white on our skin which is good. That's the reason we only get this one.
