A change (sequel to New Beginning?)

Chapter 37

David's POV

"Do you know who took her?" Cameron asked

"We think it was her parents. A couple incidents happened before" Conor said

"What." Cameron guys said

"Her dad pushed her in the alligator swamp and he attacked her at the museum" I said

"F***" Cameron said "why didn't you guys call us?" He asked annoyed

"She didn't want you guys to worry" Conor said

"And you guys followed the car, but when you found it, it was empty?" He asked

"Yes" I said

"Last time this happened, she was found in the neighborhood after a year. If it's her parents, what if they're near again?" He said

"It's worth a try" Kian said

"Split up into groups so we can look faster. Anyone that looks suspicious, send a message in the group chat so we can all meet" he said

Everyone agreed and we split up. I went with Conor and Sarah and everyone else made their group.

We walked and knocked on doors for 5 hours till it was no use. We met back at the house and everyone was empty handed.

I start to feel nauseous and I run to the nearest bathroom and puke. I feel someone behind me patting my back and I turn to see Cameron.

"We'll find her" he said and walked away.

It's been two months since Mallory has been gone and I'm doing really bad. I quit at the studio and I moved out of my house into the boys house.

There was no sense of paying rent on the house and I'm never there, so Conor said to just move in with them. Cameron guys already have there house, but is staying here for any updates with Mal.

No one is taking this well and for Hannah, she doesn't know. She think Mallory is off on a trip for her songs. She's at the neighbors a lot because we always send her there when we're out looking or if something comes up. But for today, I decided to hang out with her.

"Ready?" I asked coming into the bathroom

"I need help buttoning my shorts" she said

I laughed and went over and helped her button her shorts. Then she put on her shoes and we were out.

I told Conor that I would be back later and I was taking Hannah out.

We were driving till I heard her say from the backseat "when is Mal coming home?"

Tears brimmed my eyes, but I kept it together for the sake of Hannah.

"Soon" was all I could say. 'Soon' was also the only thing Hannah was told which I felt bad for.

She sighed. "I wish she was here right now hanging out with us" she said

"Me too" I said before turning into Burger King. "What do you want?" I asked her

"A cheeseburger and fries please"

"Got it" I said and went through the drive thru.

"Welcome to Burger King, order when you're ready" the guy said

"Hi, uh can I get a cheeseburger with fries and a whopper with fries. For the drinks, can I get a small...."

"Fruit punch!" Hannah shouted
