The Daemos boys make it out of the mall, trying to get through it all as fast as possible. Now, they're standing outside, ready to return to their poor humans.

"We need to get back to the apartment now." Asch mutters. "My patience has run dry..."

Leif shrugs. "Ava is probably dead by now." He remarks. "And (Y/n)'s gonna get rid of us..." He regrets the words as soon as they leave his lips. He doesn't want to think of them abandoning him...

Pierce's eyes widen at his words. "Dead?"

"We need to abide by the human conduct. Walking is the preferred method and-"

Before Rhys could finish, Leif points elsewhere. "What about that?" He asks, making the others look towards the cars. Some are parked in the lot beside the road, where others are driving by.

Rhys squints at them, wondering how he had never noticed them before. "That... does seem faster."

"Leif, obtain one." Asch demands.

"On it." The assassin runs over to one of the cars, breaking the door to the driver's seat clean off. "Got it!" He throws the door aside with no effort at all.

Rhys brightens. "Good work, Leif."

"I will command this... thing." Asch states as the others approach and they all manage to get in the car. By some strange stroke of luck, Asch manages to end up in the driver's seat. Rhys sits at his side, and Pierce and Leif are in the back seat with the groceries.

"What is this?" Pierce asks.

Rhys glances back at the other two, briefly, more interested in examining the car. "It seems to be a carriage."

"But where are the Minotaurs to pull it?" Leif queries with furrowed brows.

"We must yell at it, that's how things work here." Asch determines. "TAKE US TO AVA'S HOME!"

Naturally, nothing happens and Rhys looks over at the prince with a disappointed expression. "Ha! See? Yelling does not prompt things to happen all the time. Allow me to inspect..." He pauses to look around the inside of the car. "Look, Asch, there seems to be steps for you to place your hands on. Perhaps meant for royalty."

"As to be expected." Asch replies, smugly.

"Place your feet on them, see if anything happens." Rhys instructs.

Asch stomps on one of the pedals, but the car doesn't move. He scoffs. "Nothing. Urgh, we're wasting our time!"

"Keep your feet on them, perhaps applying more force will make this thing move." Rhys states, and Asch tries again without another word. "There seems to be a small pressure plate next to the-" He turns the key and accidentally starts the car, causing others to all let out a startled cry.

"WHAT HAPPENED?!" Leif questions, panicked.

"Rhys, wh-what did you do?" Asch asks, looking to his advisor.

Rhys looks around the vehicle, nervously. "I-I-I don't know! I-"

"WHY'D YOU TURN THAT?!" Leif cuts him off.

The advisor, always seeking solutions notices the stick shift beside him. "Perhaps if we pull this we-" He moves the stick shift into drive and the car rushes forward with the pressure Asch is already putting on the pedal. Once more, the boys all scream. Their drive barely lasts a few seconds before they crash the car into a fire hydrant on the sidewalk. It breaks from the force, water to flooding out on the pavement. The group stares at the accident before them, wide-eyed.
