(Y/n) inches a bit closer to Jake, removing their sweatshirt to place it in his lap. "(Y-Y/n), you don't have to do this..." The blonde tries to object, but (Y/n) shakes their head.

"No, take it, please..." They mumble. "You're gonna get cold..."

"Th... Thanks, (Y/n)..." Jake sighs, softly. Neither of them catch the way the Daemos glare daggers.

"L-Look at them..." Noi whines, clinging to the tablecloth. "What do we do?"

Rhys frowns. "Well, sabotage didn't work, clearly..." He mutters, looking at Leif.

Leif scoffs. "That's not my fault..."

"We need a new tactic." Pierce states, simply.

Asch furrows his brows. "But what would get their attention...?"

While the Daemos were contemplating a new strategy, a waitress approaches. "Good evening everyone, my name is Elsy, I'll be your server tonight. Can I start you off with anything to drink?"

(Y/n) shakes their head. "Just the waters will be fine." They didn't want to make the Daemos choose something they new nothing about, that could cause stress and suspicion. They only hoped Jake didn't mind.

"Alright then..." Elsy went on. "Has everyone decided on their orders?"

(Y/n) glances over at the Daemos, finding them all mumbling to each other about... who knows what, and figured that the best course of option might be to order for them and hope for the best. "Uh, we'll get the (f/f), please."

Elsy raises a brow. "All of you?"

Before (Y/n) could say it was only for them and the Daemos, Jake spoke up. "Y-Yes, thank you."

"Alright, that's seven orders of (f/f)..." The waitress murmurs, scribbling the order down on her notepad. "Will there be anything else?"

"No, that's just fine, thank you." (Y/n) replies, and Elsy turns and walk back toward the kitchen. "Jake, I didn't know you liked (f/f)."

Jake quickly nods. "Y-Yeah, since I was younger, actually..."

"Me too!" (Y/n) beams. "Jake, you've been holding out on me all this time!" The two human laugh, much to the Daemos' annoyance. Asch clears his throat, trying to pull attention away from Jake. (Y/n) looks up in confusion before gasping. "Oh my god, I... never introduced you guys, did I? That's my mistake, I'm sorry." They rub the back of their neck.

"It's perfectly okay, (Y/n)." Rhys speaks up. "There's no reason to rush."

"I'd still like to do it." (Y/n) hums. "Jake, this is Pierce, Leif, Noi, Asch, and Rhys. They're some friends from... not around here, but they're all very good people." They gesture around the table before smiling back at Jake. "And guys, this is Jake. I think I've already said it, but he's Ava's and my landlord, but he's also a really great friend."

"H-Hello..." Jake mutters, wanting to be able to get along with (Y/n)'s friends, but the Daemos seem tense despite his attempt at being friendly.

(Y/n) lets out a small sigh. "Guys, please try to get along... Relax, this was supposed to be fun." They smile at the Daemos. "I know it's not really your guys' style, but we can all be friends, can't we?"
