Chapter 14

Val's pov

"Dad why are we going to the ball room"l asked dad.

"You see baby l left something there yesterday so l'm going to search for it"he said nervously.

There is surely something wrong but what it is it.

"Ok but why do l have to come with you"l asked looking at him straight in the eye.

"To help with my search"he said like it was the most obvious thing.

"But how can l search for something that l don't know"l said.

"Well let's go l will tell you when we reach the ball room."he said and we walked to the ball room.

"Why is it so dark"l said as we went inside and the door closed.

"Dad...Dad...Dad where are you"l said internally scared. Is this some kind of horror movie or something.

"SURPRISE"people shouted and the lights turned on.

I looked around the ball room and the decorations were beautiful what caught my eye was the board above me it read HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY ROSE.

I couldn't stop tears from falling, it's my birthday and l forgot but they didn't.

"Happy birthday Rose"my dad said kissing my tears away. I looked at him and hugged him tight.

"T-th-ank you dad"l said chocking on my tears of joy.

"No need to thank me Rose and l think your uncle has something to say to you"he said pointing behind my back.

I turned around and jumped on uncle Marc.

"Happy birthday Val"He said while chucking.

"Thank you Uncle"l said and he put me down since some people wanted to wish me.

My friends, Marian, Matteo and other guards wished me a happy birthday and they gave me presents.

"Cut the cake now Val"Uncle Marc said.

The cake was very big and dad helped me in cutting it and then he feed me and l feed him too and uncle.

After cutting the cake l went to my friends and told them how thankful I am and blah blah blah.

They then told that it's okay I don't have to thank them.

We danced to the music together and it was time to open presents.

I opened my dad's present first and it was a diamond necklace that had me and my mom's picture, it was so beautiful.

And then Uncle Marc's present, it was a little puppy. Oh my God it's so cute l will name it Bryce.

Lily's present was a diary. Luca was a  black bicycle he knows my favorite color.It was cool and beautiful.

Emilo's present was a silver bracelet it has our initials E:V (Emilo: Valentina)he has one too but his starts with V it's V:E. The bracelet is gorgeous and we both made a promise that we will never take it off.

Marian gave me a hairpin and Matteo gave me a black watch.

When the birthday ended everyone went back to their homes. Emilo gave me a tight hug and left.

"I will get going too it's late. Happy birthday again my little princess"Uncle Marc said and left.

"Let's go l want to show you my other present"my dad said.

"What there is another present?"l asked dumfounded l mean he just gave me an expensive necklace and now there is another present.

"Yeah now let's go "he said and we went out of the ball room and went to the second floor.

"What are we doing on the second floor"l asked

"Shh it's a surprise"he said and stopped at that big spare room's closed door.

"Aah dad why are we here isn't this an empty room"l asked again

"Just keep quite the present is inside"he said

"I'm going to count up to 3 then l will open the door okay" he said and I nodded with one thought in mind 'just what is inside this closed door'

"1...2...3"he counted and opened the door.

When l looked at the room l didn't know what to say so l just fainted.

Lorenzo's pov

'Woah l never thought that she will faint, well since it's night let me not wake her we will come here tomorrow.'

I thought and picked Rose from the floor, closed the door and went to my room.

I changed her to her pyjamas and put her on my bed and l went to change too.

After changing l went to my bed, climbed on it, cuddled with my daughter and l fell asleep.
