Chapter 42

Val's pov

After my English lesson, I went to attend Chemistry, which was the last lesson of today, by the way. The chemistry teacher wasn't in today.

Guess what...Em and his 3 friends were also in the lesson.

All the girls were fawning at Em, and for some unknown reason, I did not like it at all

For the whole lesson, l could feel someone's gaze from behind me, and I knew if it was Em cause his desk was behind mine.

"Hey Jayden, your girlfriend has arrived," one of Em's friends, the blonde haired one said as soon as 4 girls entered the classroom.

"I wouldn't say she is my girlfriend but whatever."

"Hey babe," one of the girls said before kissing the guy who I think, is Jason?" No, no, Jayden.

"Wassup swirry," Jayden said once he broke from the kiss and put the girl on his lap.

The other 2 girls sat on the chairs that were at the front but not far away from the guys, as for the 3rd girl she tried to sit on the chair that was beside Em I mean come on where does she get the nerve to do that? The moment Em turned his gaze towards her, she trembled and went to sit with her other friends.

After some time, the siren rang, and I was the first to get out of the class.

"Yoday was nice. There was no drama, " I said as we walked to the parking lot.

"Bro, there is no school that is nice when there is no drama, and FYI, I attended English with your stepsister, and she got into a fight with another girl," Eve said.

"Why were they fighting?"

"I'm not sure, but Hayley kept on saying the girl was taking her man from her and stuff like that. She shrugged.

"That's ridiculous, I mean, why fight for a guy?" I said.

"It's not surprising, though, because the guy they are fighting for is from the fearless four group. I just don't know who," she said.

Can it be...no, I don't think so.

"Are you coming with me in my car?" Eve asked once we arrived where her car parked.

"No, I told my driver to come pick me up, you may leave,"

"How can I leave without being sure that your driver will come pick you up?"

"Don't worry, Eve, he will surely come," I said.

"Um o-kay," she hesitantly said before giving me a hug and going inside her car.

"Bye,see you tomorrow," I said, and with that, she set off with her car.

I sat on the bench nearby as I waited for Mr Dart. I wonder why he is taking so long to arrive.

"What are you waiting for?" I jumped out of shock and fear to the new voice beside me. But relaxed after I noticed who the voice belonged to.

"Shit, you scared me," I exclaimed.

"Sorry.  What are you waiting for? " Em asked again.

"My driver,"

"Why don't you come with me, I will drop you off at your house," he said.

"No, what if he comes here and awaits me without knowing that I already left?"

"Well, that will be his problem," Em muttered. He sighed and sat down beside me cause he knew I wouldn't back down.

"By the way, you didn't tell me how it was in NYC." he decided to change the topic.

"It was fine, I used to go with my uncle to his concerts and I also made a new friend. But I always missed you so much. "
"Anyways, you said you gonna tell me about what made you change," I said.

"I said some other time but not today,"

Emilio's pov

"Okay," she said before going silent as if thinking of what to ask me again.

I continued looking at her with a smile on my face. She doesn't know how much I missed her. She doesn't even know that I always find peace whenever I am with her.

I rarely ever show my emotions to anyone, but she is an exception. It's impossible for me to consile my emotions when I'm with her.

"Yeah, I've been wanting to ask you these questions," her lovely voice broke me from my thoughts

"Okay?"

"Why are you and your friends always banging open the cafeteria doors? And why do people call your group fearless four? Are you also one of the fearless four? Why do I feel like people in this school fear you? And..." she was about to continue before I cut her off.

"Relax, you can't ask too many questions at the same time without waiting for my answers, Tina," I said amused.

"Don't make it a habit of always speaking before I finish," she said, trying to act stern.

"Yes ma'am, I'm sorry," I said. If people saw this, they wouldn't have believed it, especially my boys.

"Now answer my questions."

"My other friend is dramatic, so that's why he likes banging open the door." I said. I was right though, Jayden is so dramatic.

"Okay."

"I don't know why people call us the fearless four. It's a name they decided to call our group, and yes, I'm one of the fearless four"

"The name is weird, though, and kinda of funny." That's what I thought too.

"Yes, people do fear me," I said honestly.

"But why?"

"I'm not a good person, Tina,"

"That's not a reason I want Em," she said.

"Looks like your driver has arrived," I said once I saw a car packing in front of us.

"Em"

"Not now, Tina. I will tell you when the time comes."

The driver came out of the car and rushed to Tina.

"I'm sorry ma'am, the car had a problem on the way, and there was a lot of traffic." the driver said.

"It's okay, Mr Dart, and I told you to call me by my name."

Once the driver saw me, he became pale and tried to rush back to the car, but I glared at him to stop because I didn't want Tina to be suspicious.

"Bye Em, let's go, Mr Dart." she was about to leave, but I held her hand and signaled the driver to wait near the car.

"Do you want something?" Tina asked, confused.

"Yes, you were about to leave just like that without giving me a hug?" I said.

"Oh," she said as she got on her tip toes and put her arms around my neck for a hug, I put my hands around her waist and pulled her towards me. Her smell was intoxicating. I couldn't get enough of it.

I hesitantly released her and saw her blushing face. She looked so cute.

"Bye Em" she said before going towards the driver. She opened the door of their car and got inside.

She waved at me for the last time until their car was out of sight.

'This girl,' I thought to myself before going to where my black Aventador was parked.
