Chapter 15

Lorenzo's pov

"Rose baby what's wrong" I asked trying so hard not to laugh.

She has been quite since we woke up and right now we were having breakfast.

"I just had a strange but nice dream about that big empty room after my birthday last night. I mean you gave me a necklace so how on earth would you... nevermind l think l'm going crazy"she said.

"Are you sure it was a dream?"l asked

"Huh?"she said.

"I mean why don't we go check if it was a dream or not" l said looking at her confused face.

"Ok"she said unsure.

We were now standing at the close door of the big room.

"Go ahead baby open the door".l said

Val's pov

I opened the door and...

OH MY GOD it was not a dream.

"Wow it really wasn't a dream"l said walking around the room in awe.

This big empty room which is now a music room is so beautiful and shiny. It has some music instruments and a stage but what really caught my eye the most was the grand black and white piano in the middle of the room. IS THIS HEAVEN.

I went to it and touched it with my fingers, it was like it was begging to be played. I looked at my dad asking for permission to play it.

"Well Rose this room is yours now it's your music room you don't have to ask permissions from me"he said.

"Really it's mine?"l asked.

"Of course this is another present from me"he said and l hugged him.

"Thank you dad this is the best gift ever"l said.

"No need to thank me Rose, now can you please play the piano for me"he said and l nodded.

I sat on the stool near the piano and l played it. After l finished l looked at my dad who was already looking at me with a proud look on his face.

"Wow you are very good at playing a piano baby"he said.

"Let's play together dad"l said and he nodded and sat on the stool next to me and we played.

It was fun playing with my dad. I was surprised that he too can sing and play a piano l mean it's my dad who is known to be cold we talking about.

After about a few hours dad left the music room he said he had something to do so l was left alone.

I spent the rest of the day in the music room playing all instruments and singing.

Marian brought lunch and dinner to me since l wasn't planning on leaving the room.

"Val you have school tomorrow you have to sleep it's late you don't want to make your father angry."Marian said worryingly when she saw that l wasn't planning on leaving the music room.

"No Mari l don't wanna sleep"l whined and pouted.

We continued like that for a while her saying that l need to go to my room and sleep and me refusing until she gave up and left me alone.

After sometime l ended up falling asleep without my notice.
