Hey, it's chapter 100. Wow. Hm.

Not sure how I feel about this, this exposé of my slight insanity through these characters. It's interesting.

But happy 100, and thanks for sticking with me:)

Enjoy!

speck: all of you are welcome for Halloween, btw

Ball: you're welcome for hip hop

speck: okay I didn't mean to get racial-

Ball: bro...
Ball: it wasn't racial until you said something
Ball: but hip hip originated in Queens
Ball: and you're welcome 💯

PirateCosplayer: hip hop originated in The Bronx-

Gush: sigh

flirter: smalls will be happy to hear that

Ball: well we have Spider-Man, so-

pins: I thought hip hop was created on the west coast

SirFrancis: nah they just have more famous rappers, like Ice Cube and Snoop Dogg
SirFrancis: but hip hop originated in The Bronx during the 80s

Nerd: You know, when people had things to rap about.

Ball: oooooh hot debate
Ball: David, dear, what is your take on rap

Nerd: I'm not a big fan. I don't really like the idea of people talking about sex, money, and or drugs so openly and little kids listening to it. I mean, they don't even know what they're saying.

Ball: I get that my mom used to play  Red Light Special and now that I'm older, it's not just about a talent show anymore🤨
Ball: but I guess that makes the argument that 90s rap, at least, used to be about sex Money and drugs too
Ball: that's what Lil Kim was known for for a long time

Nerd: And that's true, but it's a lot less blatant. Comparing the two, rap today is about having a lot of girls on your arms, chains on your neck, and money in your pockets. And I understand that rappers back in the day were like that too, but they had versatility. Biggie rapped about money, but he also talked about a struggle.

Ball: I bet J Cole and Kendrick Lamar would take offense to that
Ball: both artists you can find on my playlist on Apple Music

PirateCosplayer: just search roller's playlist under the author's name

Mush: 😐😑😐

Glasses: Davey you don't even listen to rap music

Nerd: Jack and I watched the rap documentary on HBO Max

Glasses: why

Nerd: because we watched everything else on HBO Max

flirter: specs do you want to be Brandy and Paolo Montalbon next Halloween
