30 ¦ I Need The Light

I woke up and wanted to get up to get dressed. We were going out with the boys today. When I tried to get up, I noticed that Jungwon had his arms wrapped tightly around me. It was like he didn't want me to leave. I laid back down with him and closed my eyes. 

"Good morning." he murmured in my ear in his raspy morning voice. 

"I thought you were asleep.", I replied, trying to get out of his arms. 

"I was just lying there with my eyes closed. Try not to leave again. I won't let you go.", he murmured and pulled me even closer to him. 

"Wonie, I can't breathe anymore," I laughed. 

"I'll revive you if I have to", he replied laughing, then he stopped pulling me towards him, but still held me tight. 

"Come here." He pulled me to him by the chin and kissed me far too stormily for a morning. Immediately I broke away from him, for I could no longer breathe. 

"What is it?" he asked, confused. 

"I ran out of air." He laughed. 

"Come back here now," he ordered me. I sat down next to him and leaned down to kiss him again. 

All of a sudden the door was yanked open and two monsters came running laughing. Immediately I backed off from Jungwon, Alejandro and Luis jumped on our bed and hugged us tightly. Alejandro sat on my lap and Luis sat between me and Jungwon. 

 "What are we doing today?" asked Luis in his cute English, but for 9 he already knew pretty good English. 

"This is a surprise. Run to your mama and get dressed. We'll catch up with you, okay?" 

"Okay." the little boy laughed and took his brother by the hand, then they both ran off. 

"We need to get ready", I said to Jungwon and stood up. 

"I want to pick up where we left off, though,"' he said, playfully annoyed. 

"We can catch up some other time. Now get up, the kids are waiting", I said sternly and turned around again. I put on a turtleneck again and my sweatpants with it. 

"When I come back from the bathroom, I want you to be dressed," I said and went into the bathroom. Just like with a kid... 

I got things done in the bathroom and then sat down. I waited for 2 minutes to give him extra time, then I went back into the room and caught sight of...a dressed Jungwon. 

"Finished.", he said and sat down on the bed. 

"Come on then.", I said and disappeared behind the door. 

We went downstairs and ate something quickly, then went to the bathroom to brush our teeth. When we came downstairs, the boys already had their shoes and jackets on. Wow, my aunt really wants to get rid of them.

We took them outside and went to a playground, this time one with a real entrance. "We're going on the slide!" yelled Luis, already running.

"There's snow everywhere and he wants to go on the slide?" asked Jungwon in wonder. 

"As long as he's having fun." 

Jungwon and I went to the swings and watched the boys playing from there.

 "Are we watching something later?" asked Jungwon. 

"We can watch Maze Runner." 

"Maze Runner?" Jungwon turned to me. "No! No way. You'll be talking about how good looking those guys are all the time." 

"A Disney movie then?", I asked him. We often watch Disney movies, but they're totally good, too. He nodded. 

"Rapunzel is totally good. One of my favorite movies.", I said out loud hoping he would say yes. 

"Then let's watch Rapunzel.", he said smiling and looking at the boys. Good thing he doesn't know yet that I'm going to talk about how good looking Flynn Rider is, I chuckled lightly and looked back at the boys too. 

After kind of an hour they came running because they were hungry. 

"Let's go get hotdogs.", Jungwon suggested, the boys yelled out in delight. 

"Alright, come on then." 

Alejandro wanted to get on my arm with the reason that his feet were already hurting. So I carried Alejandro and Jungwon piggybacked Luis and so we went to the hotdog stand. Once there, I ordered four hotdogs, paid for them and we ate them in peace. The boys were full but Jungwon and I were not so we ordered another hotdog each. 

We walked back again, stopping briefly in front of the house in a small meadow because there was a lot of snow. We all laid down and made snow angels, then all three boys wanted to build a snowman so we started rolling the big snowballs further in the snow. 

I don't know how much time had passed, but we were finally done. 

All of a sudden I felt something at my back. I turned around and saw Luis giggling. He squatted down and made a snowball and threw Jungwon with it. So a snowball fight... 

I knelt down and made many small snowballs. When my supply was big enough, I threw them all. 

Little Alejandro ran to me and hid behind me, then he kept taking my balls and throwing them at the others, then Jungwon and Luis got together and threw them at us. Rather said me, because Alejandro hid himself behind me. Slowly it got dark and we went back inside. 

"What did you guys do?" my aunt asked when she saw us. 

"We had a snowball fight!" exclaimed Luis overjoyed. My aunt laughed. 

"Thank you both. I'm going to wash them now.", she said and took them away. 

"Love, my beanie is gone. I'm sure i lost it outside. I'll be right back.", Jungwon suddenly said and was about to go out. 

"Wait, I'll come with you," I said. He nodded in relief and we went out.
