"Are you joking? You people are nuts" My eyes widened at the sight of three outfits laid out on my bed after I had just gotten out the shower and Isabel, Ezralia and Shiloh all standing round with big grind on their face. "We wanted to do something for you. To make you feel good" Shiloh winked "Please accept" Isabel used her puppy eyes as she pleaded with me "Oh I love you guys. Thank you" I pulled them all in for a hug "Okay quit being so lovey dovey and put on the first outfit" Ezralia then said so I picked up the first hanger that had a greed hanging off it.

"Good morning" I chimed as I walked into the Red Bull garage "Morning Lucia" The mechanics replied with a smile as they did their rounds on the car. "Lucia, perfect you're here! When are you able to have a quick meeting with me in my office?" Christian approached as I placed my bag down to the side where Max keeps his helmets "I can now" I nodded "Ah amazing" Christian smiled and I then made my way over to the Red Bull Hospitality motor home with Christian.

"So" - Christian shuts the door behind me -"I was thinking we announce your departure from the team either after the race weekend or if Max wins the championship, after the awards ceremony" He got straight to the point "O-oh yeah. Uhm after the award ceremony would be good" I nodded "Perfect. That's all I needed to discuss" He then said as he then got back to work on his computer "Oh ok" I replied, making my way to the door, slightly confused as to why he needed to ask me that in his office.

As I approached the Red Bull garage, it was weirdly empty, the hall way was clear and the entrance only had fans standing round. What the hell? Walking through the hall the only sound that filled the space were my heels as they hit the flooring "Guys?" I shyly questioned, wondering whether I had just disturbed a video they were needing to film for YouTube or something.

Turning the corner to the left I made my way into Max's side of the garage "Max?" I questioned as he was the only one standing next to the car and on further inspection, he was the only one in the whole garage. "Cia, sweetheart" Max turned round and took a deep breath in "Huh? W-what? What's going on?" I questioned "Lucia" Max looked straight at me and took my hand in his and placed it over his heart "From the bottom of my heart. The way I have treated you for the past 3 weeks, I hope it hasn't painted an ugly picture of me in your mind. I will try everything in my power to earn your trust again, because I can't live in a world without you Cia" I couldn't feel Max's heart speed up as he spoke "Lucia I love you, with my whole heart. I wouldn't be the person, driver, brother, son or partner that I am today without you and your love. Please Cia, please forgive me" Max's eyes welled up "Oh Max" I placed my free hand on his cheek "Once this weekend is over, i promise we will talk. But you need to focus. And the amount of shit you've put me through over the past weeks, the only thing I'm prepared to give you this weekend is my support as a friend and Racing Engineer" My smile wobbled "Please be ok with that Maxy" My voiced croaked as I held back my own tears as My thumb wiped away the few tears that had escape Max's eyes "Okay, Lucia" Max moved his head and kissed the palm of my hand "I love you" Max clutched onto both my hands, tight "I know" I smiled and he nodded, feeling secure in the fact I knew he did.
