The first race back after the summer break, and it was one of my favourites... Max's home race. Although we were on separate teams, we still stayed in the same hotel room together and Max still drove me to the track as he refused to let me go any other way.

f1insider Max Verstappen arrive's at the track with Girlfriend, Lucia and F1's favourite couple make their way down the paddock and Max drops Lucia off at the McLaren garage, like we see every weekend before he makes his way back to Red Bull.

"Lando, with free practices yesterday, was the porpoising still bad or was the upgrades from this weekend improving it?" I asked as I stood next to the British driver and looked over his car with a few mechanics. "Yeah it's a lot better. How did you know it would improve the porpoising?" Lando replied "Eh simple aerodynamics" I shrugged squatting down to take a closer look at the car "Yeah, simple" Lando chuckled "I promise it's not as bad as it sounds, it just looks complicated" I replied "Mhmm I'll leave the aerodynamics to the professionals" Lando said and then left with his performance coach to start warming up for qualifying.

"Casey can I get you to look once more at the right side pod? Lando said it was feeling like air was flowing through it and there was a bit of resistance. I've had a look and didn't see anything but it won't hurt to get and extra pair of eyes to look" I asked the head racing engineer as he passed through Lando's garage "Yeah of course, I'll have a look now for you" He nodded and then straight away walked round the other side of the car to take a look.

"Alright Lands, ready for qualifying?" I asked as the Brit had reappeared after warming up "Yep" He then stepped into the cockpit "Remember we are taking it easy Q1 and 2 as we're confident we'll get through but if not we'll let you know and tell you to push" I replied and got a thumbs up in reply before I made my way over to the pit wall where I sat next to Zak Brown.

"Okay Norris, it's going to be slow, fast, slow. It's only Q1 so we won't need to push too much" I radioed "Okay sounds good" Lando replied "Alright and you are free to leave the pits" I turned round to put my thumbs up and watched the McLaren turn out the garage and onto the pit lane.

"Norris, you should be able to get in another fast lap before the time ends" I radioed as there was 1:20 minutes left on the Q3 timer "What position am I?" Lando asked "You are P6. P6" I said and then Lando got a wiggle on to the line.

"And that's P5! Well done Lando that's P5!" I cheered on the driver "Woohoo!! Good quali boys!!" Lando replied happy "Nice driving Norris!" I chirped.

"Lucia, Max is Pole" Zak tapped my shoulder and in an instant I was up off the pit wall and racing down to park Fermé. "Ah Lucia! Back where you should be" Christian Horner nudged my shoulder as I passed through the sea of the Red Bull team and stopped at the barrier.

Like always, Max searched the crowed and made a b-line for me "I like seeing you back with Red Bull" Max teased "I know, you say that every weekend" I laughed and he tightened his grip round me.

Hey love's, sorry for the slow updates! I've been sitting my A-Levels :)

I only have a few more to go so it shouldn't be too much longer till the updates are back to normal!
