SHE WALKED down the street, she knew they were watching her. She could feel it. She tried to look as timid as possible, make whoever was coming for her underestimate her, it was one of her many tactics.She walked into a secluded alleyway; perfect to leave someone unconscious without any witnesses
She propped herself up against a wall, hearing footsteps approaching her slowly, she could just use her powers to burn the agent's face off and be done with it but, where's the fun in that? She liked a fight, especially one who was worthy of her time.
She was lost in her own thoughts, which was something she did frequently. she only realised it was a potential problem when the assassin that was coming after her grabbed her by the collar and chucked her on the floor
"Agent Evans?" he scanned her face "Yea its you, you didn't do a very great job in hiding huh? Now, work with me here i can either bring you back to the commission im sure they would love to have their best assassin back on the job or i can kill you right here right now" he taunted her pinning her to the floor
She planned her next move in her head "What's going to be princess? You wanna live?" he hissed
She almost laughed in his face, who on earth did he think he was it was obvious that he was new, if he really knew who she was he would not be speaking to her like this
"I could rip you apart if i wanted, but i'm in quite a good mood, and i know that you're new so i'm going to make it easy for you; i just need your briefcase and i'll be on my merry way mkay?" she narrowed her eyes
Now he laughed in her face "and why on earth would I do that Evans?"
"Because I'm going to kick your ass Agent..."
"Hargreeves" he sneered
Her eyes widened, of course they would send him to kill her, she didn't know if it was a good thing or a bad thing that she had come face to face with him this early
She could at least introduce herself, leave a good first impression
Her face returned to a sly smirk "Oh good, i'm glad to finally meet you" she said before kicking him off of her and punching him in the face
He spacial jumped behind her and began to strangle her with her own rope from her pocket
She hissed at him, clawing at his face before flipping them both over, making him lose his grip
Now she had her hands around his neck, heating them up just enough to cause him pain staring into his eyes. "Listen to me Five, I'm not the bad guy they tell you I am okay, I know about your family, I know about the 2019 apocalypse okay? i know everything i know that the Handler recruited you to be an assassin but you've been planning to break your contract like me and save the world"
She grinned devilishly at him, knowing she had gotten into his head. He snapped out of her gaze, spacial jumping away and pulling out his gun "i don't care what you have to say,i'm here to kill you and that what i'm going to do, you don't matter to me" his gun pointed at her head
"Oh but you really should.." she chuckled in a low tone
"And why is that?" His gun was pointed at her head
"Because i have all the answers"
"What answers" he asked bitterly
"To save the world of course, I know you're thinking about it, you've been thinking about it for a while haven't you? But you can't because you don't have all the equations, well i do"
She ducked behind another wall, avoiding his bullets, she found a thick piece of wood on the ground and picked it up waiting for Five to approach her again
She hit him in the head with it, making him stumble back "whatever this is, its all apart of her plan your just one of her little puppets,as long as you work for the commission, she will always control you"
He was getting angry now, he knew she was right
"stop talking" he said in a warning tone, backing her against the wall
"I know that everything you do is to get back to your family, every person you killed here, is to get back to them, we do terrible things for the people we love" she said in a low tone
He gave her no response as he got a knife from his pocket and put it against her throat "Come on Five you know i'm right, you can't kill me,you won't" she whispered widening her eyes
He raised his eyebrows "how can you be so sure?"
"Because you need me, i can help you get back to your family, save the world"
"Why do you want to help me? Huh what's in it for you"
"My friend, who was killed by the fucking commision told me to track you down and help you get out of here, and thats what i intend to do"
He stared at her for a second, pulling his knife away from her slowly and switching it for his gun "bullshit" he hissed before shooting her in the shoulder
"Hijo de puta (motherfucker)" she yelled before shooting back at him, he spacial jumped away, disappearing into thin air
She hissed, her hands bursting into flames as she quietly cursed him out
"You don't want to make me your enemy Five" she hissed into the empty alleyway, almost one hundred percent sure he was still lurking around somewhere
She took a deep breath and walked off, getting ready to break into a motel for the night
She didn't expect him to listen to her very easily and after reading Theos notes about him which described him as a "stubborn bastard that had his head up his ass" but all of her knew she would see him again
And she had a feeling this wasn't going to be the last time she fought him
