They walked up to the top floor, aka the second floor and walked to the very far end of the hall "did he have a favourite number?" Stan asked

"No, not a favourite number...but he did have a safe number" her eyes widened "he always said the number 60 was the safest because something about his grandad" she waved her hand, loosing Stans attention by the second "and that was how old he was when"

"okay whatever lets go" he scowled

"kids" she rambled, almost running down the haul to find number 60

"You know alot about him"
She smiled "i was with him for like twenty something years, he taught me everything"
"Thats nice" they slowed down the numbers on the door getting closer to 60
"Yeah...it is" she hummed, her stomach churning as her eyes laid on door 59

They stared at door 60, neither one of them speaking, just waiting "do you want me to knock?"

Her hands shook "no..no i need to" her fist hovered at the door, her head spinning

She did their knock, the one Theo told her to do so he would know it was her "one two three" she whispered knocking on the door "one two three four" she counted the knocks

She stepped away from the door, the two looked at each other in anticipation waiting for whoever was on the other side of the door to answer

There was silence for a minute and she sighed in disappointment "hes not here" she hummed, not letting Stanley see her face

"If hes not here than...where is h-"

The door next to them opened and a tall figure dressed in black stepped out "Athena?" a man with a deep voice and a spanish accent

They stood there looking at each other with gaping mouths as if what they were seeing wasnt real "wow" Stanley whispered, breaking the silence

"How are you- I thought you were- what happened?" He put his hand on his forehead, a startled look on his face, stepping forward with his arms open

She clenched her fists, taking all her willpower not to give up and fall into his arms "hello" she swallowed sharply

"oh my cariño" he leant forward with his arms open

"stop,stop please"
"kid?"

"im sorry" she sobbed  "im not Athena"

His eyebrows furrowed, he took a step back "what? what are you talking about?"

"I'm not-your Athena, i am Athena but im- different " she rambled, not listening to what she was saying

"What? Athena what are you saying?"

"I'm not your Athena" she shook her head, completely losing control of herself "im sorry, i should have never come here"

"No no- dear its okay" he gave her a weak smile, the two finding it hard to look at each other "tell me what happened"

She took a breath and started telling him about the past few years, how her Theo passed away sending her on a rampage and making her leave the commission, 2019, 1963 and now, according to his face most things she said hadn't made sense but his eyebrows rose at the mention of Reginald hargreeves

She took a deep breath, her chest hurt like her lungs were about to explode "i miss you, dad, so much has happened and i just haven't been able to function without you" she sobbed, trying to control her unsteady breathing

She looked up at Theo, he had stopped crying and he had the look on his face, the look he gave to strangers when they crossed the line "i think you should leave now, im sorry" he stook a step back into his door "i am not your dad, like you said, you are not my Athena, it would just hurt us both to try and pretend we're not
