"Dad" the two whispered in unison

"What else is he doing standing on the grassy knoll, holding an open black umbrella on a sunny day in Dallas the exact same moment the president gets shot?"

"It doesn't look good i admit" Five widened his eyes, tired of enduring Diego's tantrum

"No, he's the signalman for the whole goddamn thing"

"Easy, Diego seriously"

"No it makes sense this is what Hazel was obviously trying to tell you"

Athena and lila's eye flashed back and forth as if they were watching a tennis match between the two brothers "we have to stop dad from killing the president"

Lila shuffled closer to the girl "you and hargreeves getting on well i see?" she asked wiggling her eyebrows

"Five? Well i mean we usually get on a bit better than today but-"

"Diego said about you two, he reckons you two are a bit more than friends is that true?" she rose her eyebrows

"it's a miracle i haven't murdered the boy myself" she huffed, lila making her feel defensive

Athena tuned back into the boys conversation "you know what? We don't have time for this right now, Dads clearly in Dallas, right? Lets just go talk to him maybe he can help us fix the timeline"

"Dallas is a big place we need to find him first"

"Gee, if only we had some magical way of finding people and their addresses" his eyes flashed to the girl. Athena stood up, grabbing the phone book and pushing it into fives chest "here numbnuts an old timey way of finding literally everyone"

Five threw it onto the table and Diego opened it "let's start simple. His name"

They eventually found him after searching up their dads company "holy shit, d.s umbrella eighty two olive lets go" the two walked towards the door

"Are we okay to leave him here" Diego gestured to Elliot

"Yea it's fine, what about the girl?"

"Which one?" Diego crossed his arms

"Thene are you coming?" he called out to the girl who was raiding Elliots fridge, hoping the 'conversation' with Theo would have changed her mind' she walked over to them and Five felt a weight being lifted off his shoulders "the other one" Five rolled his eyes

"you found him?" she asked

"Sure did"

"Shit" DIego walked away from the two

Athena dramatically sat down on Elliots couch and huffed looking up at the boy and gesturing for him to sit next to her He sat down,their shoulders touching "im sorry, i don't know why i reacted like that- i just- i just panicked" she confessed

"Sorry? Don't be sorry i'm just glad you didnt hurt yourself" he brushed his hand across hers

"I guess so" she put her head down

He moved closer to her and gently put his hand on the side of her face "im here." he whispered "you can talk to me or not talk to me, but i'm here and i'm not planning on leaving any time soon" He gazed at her "i am terrified yet so amazed by you"

"What's the point if you don't terrify people just a little bit right?" her expression softened "you should avoid me, like everyone else, but your not..you stay im just so afraid that i'm going to hurt-"

"That won't happen- i promise you I'm here now and ill be here forever" she nodded, slowly leaning in towards him, Five doing the same

"Okay guys let's go-" Diego walked in the room, making the pair jump away from each other and quickly stand up

"Yep yep" she cleared her throat "let's go find your dad"

"Let's go find our dad" Diego nodded, giving Five a look "did i interrupt something?" he whispered, five shot him a glare
