When Teddy Lupin found that his Patronus was a werewolf, just like his parents' Patronuses, he got a small tattoo on his ankle of two wolves. They represented his parents sacrifice and were a constant reminder and comfort to him that he wasn't alone. Just like his Patronus was a guardian, there for him when he needed it, Lupin and Tonks were there and watching over him.
