Roman, it turned out, deserved a little more credit than Mira originally gave him. After Hope explained to him what had happened, he offered to help the two sneak out of school and meet up with a older witch that he knew, one that would be strong enough to do the binding spell if that was what Hope wanted. Hope was still determined to go through with it, and Mira wasn't going to let her go alone, so the three of them got on the road. Mira knew the twins wouldn't be happy they'd left behind at school, but Freya was right in saying the binding wasn't something either of them needed to be witness to.

It had taken the night for them to get to where Roman's witch wanted to meet, needing to stop after a while so the girls could cloak the three of them. They'd immediately felt someone trying to track them, and they knew they couldn't be found until this was over. They'd also ditched their phones along the way, just so whoever was trying to find them would be sent off in the entirely wrong direction.

"Well, your witch really goes for atmosphere." Hope commented, as she and Mira walked ahead of Roman toward the abandoned house they were going to be using.

"She's not my witch." Roman snapped, earning a look from both girls. Sighing, he calmed himself slightly. "She's just a witch I know."

Mira narrowed her eyes on Roman, something starting not feel right as she noted his anxious demeanor. Hope merely raised her hands in the air innocently, nodding. "Not your witch. Got it." She said, looking slightly concerned as she looked at him. "Are you okay?"

"Look, Hope. You know I like you, right?" Roman asked her nervously.

"Well, I didn't think you drove me all this way 'cause you hated me." Hope replied teasingly.

"It's just... there's gonna be some things I have to explain." He trailed off, unable to meet her eyes.

Mira kept her eyes firmly on him. "Like what?"

"Look, sorry, but the only thing worse than doing this is waiting to do this." With that, Hope made way up the porch steps and toward the door to open it.

"Stop!" Roman shouted, causing both girls to look at him in alarm. "It's spelled." Moving up the steps, he knocked over a pile of rocks on the side of the porch, before he gave them a nod. "You can go in."

As they walked inside, it became looked no better on the inside then it did on the outside. A thick layer of dust coated the floors and any other surface it could, wallpaper hanging torn from some walls, some walls stripped of it entirely. The sound of grunts and moans of pain filled the girls ears, and their eyes darted toward the room next to them, both of them stunned at what they saw. Sat side by side, tied in chair, where their mothers. Both of them covered and dirt and dried blood, looking weaker and more tired than either of them had ever seen them.

"Mom?" Hope ran forward, bending down beside Hayley's chair.

"Oh my God, mom." Mira ran to Audrey's side, worry plastered across her face.
