SIX MONTHS LATER.

"Hi Baby." Darelle says through the phone.

"I'm not sure we should be talking to each other." I reply, tilting my head to allow the hairdresser to work on my hair. I'm currently sitting in front of a mirror in the hotel room I shared with Kira and Arielle last night.

"But I miss you. It was so hard not sleeping next to you."

"I miss you too." I sigh "Are you dressed yet?"

"No. Are you?"

"My makeup's done. They're working on my hair."

A hand snatches the phone away from my ear "Let me hold on to that for you. Just in case you decide to elope." Kira voices, standing next to me.

"It's our wedding day dumbass."

"Well humans are crazy creatures and you're not supposed to be talking." She reprimands. "Besides Talia here is doing a great job on your hair while you keep moving your head like a giraffe."

I punch her thigh "You're grumpy today. Didn't get some action last night?"

"Yes because apparently I had to spend the night doing best maid duties." She pouts.

"Well sorry miss world, we'll try to rush the wedding so you can get to your beauty fuck." I promise.

"Thank you. I happen to have a very handsome plus one." She plops on the bed beside me "So how are you feeling? Any jitters?"

"Honestly I'm so tensed I could shit myself right now. What if something goes wrong? What if one of us gets sick before the wedding?"

"Classic." She replies "But you don't have to worry everything will be fine. Darelle will make sure this wedding happens even if it's in a hospital bed. Your phone is vibrating with nonstop texts from him." She assures me.

The hairdresser finalizes on my hair and exits the room. A few minutes later, Arielle and Olivia walk in already dressed. We decided to have a gold and black theme like we did for my company launch. A company that has grown immensely over the past six months that we're looking into moving to a bigger place. Preferably our own building because we've managed to secured a couple of big clients.

It's not been easy. I've had sleepless nights, I've cried on Darelle's shoulders and not once did he ever complain. He's been so supportive and quite frankly living with him has been a blessing. If you ask me we've been living like a married couple.

Our house is everything I needed. That day when he surprised me with both the house and engagement I was at a loss of words. That someone would go to that extent for me? It was surreal. Safe to say that night Darelle got some extra action. Dare I say, different worlds were travelled orgasmically.

Arielle stands next to her mother dressed in a gold column jersey sleeveless sweep train dress. It hugs her petite frame generously. She decided to go for black heels (That she ordered from Louis Vuitton courtesy of mine and her brother's generosity) black necklace and earrings.
