winning the battle, losing the war
MEREDITH'S DOOR OPENS and she feels someone slump down on her bed.
"Meredith, go shut them up." Maddison's voice comes, muffled by the comforter.
"Have you ever heard of personal space or privacy?" Meredith groans in her sleep.
"I don't care, they're making me murderous." Maddison tells the girl and makes herself comfortable in the other girl's bed.
"George's room is bigger than mine." Izzie's voice comes and Meredith and Maddison jump up.
"Meredith." Maddison groans, falling into bed again. "Shut them up before I kill them."
"Okay." Meredith gets up but trips and falls flat on her face.
She gets up and walks out, without a word.
"I have more clothes, I should have the bigger room." Izzie continues complaining.
"I got here first." George replies, guarding in front of his door.
"It's Meredith's house, she should decide." Izzie tells him.
"My room is like, two inches bigger than yours!" George yells.
"You have a bigger closet!" Izzie yells back, making Maddison jump up in Meredith's room.
"So? Why is everything always a competition? I -" George complains.
Izzie and George keep complaining as Meredith goes to find clean clothes.
"...put your clothes somewhere else!" George yells, making Maddison groan as she could hear them from below.
"Everywhere else is filled with Meredith's mom's boxes." Izzie continues, as they walk back up the stairs.
Maddison groans again and makes her way to the bathroom.
"Meredith? When is your mom coming back to town anyway? Because maybe we can put her boxes in storage." George suggest.
"Or unpack a few things, make this place a little more homey. Maybe some throw pillows and lamps, a few paintings." Izzie adds.
"Oh, paintings would be nice." George agrees.
Maddison slams the bathroom door shut.
"Yeah! You have all this amazing stuff just packed away. In the back hall, I found this box with like a hundred tapes of your mother performing these amazing medical procedures." Izzie tells them.
