"OBVIOUSLY, I CAN'T GO OUT with him, right?" Meredith asks Alex and Maddison, the former two standing at the file trolly, while the latter sat at the nurse's station.
"Do I look like a chick to you?" Alex asks.
"If I look from a certain angle." Maddison smirks, tilting her head, making Alex narrow his eyes at her.
"Do I look like I care about yeast cream or tingling feelings?" Alex continues. "I mean, he's not in jail or on drugs or keeping body parts in his basement. You want to do him, do him."
"Not do him. Date him. I'm not doing anybody. I'm knitting." Meredith corrects, as Cristina walks up, looking for a file.
"And how's that going for you?" Maddison asks. "Knitting over sex?"
"Horrible." Meredith groans.
"That's Izzie's advice for you." Maddison shrugs.
"Your advice was tequila." Meredith tells her.
"And?" Maddison raises an eyebrow.
"I need Eugene Foote's chart." Cristina tells them, and Meredith hands it to her. "Oh! Who are we talking about?"
"Her vet." Maddison replies.
"It's weird, right? I mean, he's Derek's vet. He's Doc's vet. He's my vet. He's McVet." Meredith tells them, walking up to near Maddison. "It's weird to date him, right?"
"Wait, did you say vet?" Cristina looks up from the file, and Meredith hums. "Like animals? Oh, you can't date a vet. He's not even a real doctor."
"That's what I thought, but I didn't say it. I'm feeling not mean today." Maddison tells them.
"Oh, mark the calendars." Alex replies.
"Shut up." Maddison makes a face at him, as Addison walks up to the other side of the desk, taking a patient's file from a nurse.
"Damn it!" She mutters, wiping some coffee which spilled on her. "Sex. Hot sex. Need that! Ha-ha, very funny."
"Mustn't have gone so well this morning." Meredith tells the interns.
