"Watch the pot pan the stove fimme deh. Mi soon come." I said to Athena as I turned down the stove to allow the rice to steam.

"Weh yah go shop? Buy one a di fruit punch stick sweety fimme please."

"Annuh shop me a go. Dung a Xavier me a go." I said, and she looked up from her phone as she rose a brow.

"Go do?"

"Drop off sumn." I said getting annoyed by her questions, caz like she wah chat me out till the rice done steam so she nuh affi watch it.

"Drop off sumn, or a uh drawz yah go drop?" She asked and I kissed my teeth.

"The rice please? If it bun up a your fault, and a you and daddy ago eat it caz my belly quiet full."

"Oh yeah come tell me nuh wah happen today." She said, and I kissed my teeth leaving the house caz if me falla she me nuh leave the house today, and a good while now me reach home and did fi go give the man the sumn.

Waking down the road to his place I passed by a few people on the road.

None who were strangers, so me hail dem up and continue bout mi business.

"Xavier." I called as I stood at his gate.

"Xavier!?" I called louder after about 30 seconds of waiting, and I kissed my teeth when he still didn't answer.

"XAVI-"

"Yes?" I heard a voice asked, and I jumped turning around to see Xavier behind me with a shopping bag in his hand.

"Jesus Christ a kill yah try kill me!?"

"Wah uh wah?" He asked walking past me to enter through the gates, and I stood my ground handing him the box.

"Tony say fi gi uh dis."

"Oh." Was all he said as he looked at the box then walked away, and I rose a brow as e went inside.

Guessing that he was going in to come back out I was about to place the box on the wall and leave when he came back out and asked.

"Uh nah fawud?"

"Me have rice a steam." I said stepping through his gate then onto to his veranda, and then I found myself in his house.

"Yow my youth ease up off me mek me get a chance fi fight back nuh!" I heard awls voice said as I walked through the living room behind Xavier.

"Uh ass man bredda and uh did have big talk like yah pro." Said the other guy, and I took this time to look at all who was on the room, and there were four guys and two girls.

Neva did know say him yard a game shop.

Getting lost as I looked at the TV screen as they played Mortal Kombat, I remembered when I was younger and used to play it.

Now mi wah play it.

"Yah go watch dem play, or yah go finish uh delivery? Uh nave a pot pan di stove again?"

"Oh. Ee." I said handing it to him, and he just walked away.

"My youth just tek it nuh." I said following behind him to the kitchen.

"Put ee dung." He said pointing to the kitchen island, and I did as told.

"Yeah mi soon come back. Sorry uh back deh princess mek me get sumn fi drink." Said one of the guys that was playing mortal combat as I was standing in front of the fridge and o moved out of the way.

"Bra?" Xavier asked as I stood a bit close to him.

"Yave a problem?"

"None whatsoever." He said he smirked looking at my chest, and I looked down doing the same only to find that my nipples were hard. Time mussi cold.

I scoffed about to walk away when he asked.

"Uh can play mortal kombat?" He asked and I chuckled.

"Ready fi mi beat uu inna it?"

"Wah make one bet?" He asked, and I eyed him skeptically all while considering it.

"I'm listening."

"Loser affi grant the winners wish." I said, and I thought about it some more.

"Hmm. Anything?"

"Anything." He confirmed, and my mind went back to the sexy white Mercedes Benz that he had outside, and I smiled.

"Deal."

A few minutes later.

"No no uh too thief!" I argued as Xavier beat me at the round, and I kissed my teeth as Xavier laughed and teased me.

"Cah tek losing."

"Annuh losing dat caz dat nuh gi. One more round." I said picking back up the controller ready to play.

"Nope. I won fair and square. Just accept it and done."

"Nope. Uh just a say day caz uh know say a lucky uu get awhile ago, and if we play again we ago win." I said tauntingly and he rose a brow.

"Dat nah go work wid me. Nah come Gwan up? The pot goodly black now."

"Weh uh say? Dolly bun wata!?" Said one of the guys, and I rolled my eyes as the rest of them began to laugh.

"Alright fine, but next time me ago win." I said as I got off the couch ready to leave, then I saw that Xavier was behind me.

"So there is going to be a next time?"

"Of course! Mi affi win and get my wish." I said and he chuckled, and I took that time to look up at him as he did.

Aye the boy nice enuh, but mi nah go mek him know dat.

"Yah stare."

"My yeye." I said still staring.

"Seh bet mi juk dem out."

"Bet." I said folding my arms, and right as I did he pushed me up onto the wall as he held me by my neck, and my eyes widened as I tried to process what the fuck was happening.

"Feel uh bad?" He asked as he looked down at me, the tension in the air thick as we held eye contact.

"Yes." Said, and he smirked as his hold tightened, and mi know say mi did fi a scream or whatever, but mi did like it.

"Uh man?"

"None existent." Was all I said before his head began to lower, then he said softly.

"Good girl."

I closed my eyes awaiting to feel his lips, but they never came.

"Yow Xavier weh di salt deh- oh shit sorry." Said the guy, and Xavier sighed and kissed his teeth and let me go before turning to his friend, annoyance radiating from his tall frame.

"Uh check the cupboard bad man?"

"Yeah but the container empty." Said the guy shrugging.

"So why uh think mi gah the shop blacks?"

"Oh oh. Mi nay know bad man." He said, and I felt sorry for him caz Xavier was taller than him and was really intimidating.

This is my cue to leave.

Slipping through the gate, and catching my breath I walked my ass back home, trying to hide the stupid smile that was making its way across my face, but that smile quickly fell, for as soon as I busted through the front door the scent of burning river hit my nose, and I ran to the kitchen seeing a sheepish Athena, and her phone on the counter with her friends head on the screen for they were video calling.

"T please don't get mad." She grimaced after I still handnt said anything, and I shrugged.

"Annuh me an eat so mi nuh care."

Besides, me just get likkle action fi go dream bout.
