...

...

Catra shouted as she tumbled across the floor, smoke rising as Hordak's weapon created large craters within the walls.

She propped herself up unsteadily, bruises and cuts beginning to form on her skin.

"Hordak... whatever you're doing--"

"I know about Entrapta," he aimed the cannon at her.

...

She stood up, hugging her one arm, "Entrapta was a traitor. What else is there to know?" She shrugged.

...

"I... trusted... you," He charged up the weapon and fired again, Catra barely managing to maneuver out of the way.

She tumbled back into the hallway and began to run on all fours to escape Hordak and his fury. The blasts began to consume the hallways, filling them with smoke and ash.

"Your days were numbered the moment you crossed me," he fired a couple more lasers at her as she ran.

Catra made it to the Black Garnet chamber and tumbled slightly as the fire and smoke billowed.

...

She looked around for a moment before hearing Hordak speak again, taking cover behind the runestone.

"And after I'm through, you can't even begin to imagine the punishments Horde Prime will inflict upon you..." he stepped inside, searching for her.

"Oh, because he's going to swoop down and fix everything for you at any moment, right? You're lying to yourself now!" She replied with venom.

Of course, it was the wrong move to make, and he fired more blasts her way. Catra yelped as she dodged the attack.

...

...

Hordak had nothing but pure madness within him, chasing down Catra and firing blasts at every chance he could.

She would manage to make it to one of the rooftops and hopped down into one of the openings towards the foundry.

After running in on all fours, she stopped momentarily, noticing the giant claw above the melted lava and metal in the crevice underneath.

But she didn't have as much time to ponder as she thought, because the next thing she knew, Hordak was shouting and blasting another hole through the metallic wall.

...

He sauntered in as Catra made a run for it. When he gazed up, he could see Catra kneeling down, holding at her one arm as she stood on one of the claws.

"Why would Horde Prime care about you?" Her voice seemed shaky, the pain in her body pulsing through.

"You're a defect. A mistake!"

"Haven't you noticed? I'm running things here!"

...

Hordak had heard enough and aimed the cannon towards her again, the laser hitting just behind her as she dove out of its path.

In leaping off the claw, she managed to grab hold of the tube nearby, and swung down from it.

And when she got close enough, she managed to land a hard punch to his cheek, following it up with a swift kick to his arm, completely destroying the cannon he had created for himself.

She managed to circle around him and kick him in the back, causing Hordak to tumble on to his stomach with a shout.

Catra took a determined stomp forward, "Now we can finally end this."
