"Catra! Wait!"

...

The voice sounded much like Nova, but younger. A young girl with bristly hair and a small figure would dash through the hall, sniffling as she did.

A little, child-like version of Catra. She had to have been around at least eight to ten years old at the time.

...

She would go onto all fours, taking cover under a small space in the stairway where there were multiple crates and boxes for her to hide behind.

Nova would skid to a stop in the hallway. Even when younger she was seemingly taller than most of the kids in the Fright Zone. Her blue sweatpants were a little torn at the knees, her shirt a little scuffed on the sleeves as well.

"Catra, where did you go?"

"I know you didn't mean to hit Lonnie."

...

...

Catra had her head poked just slightly above the crates so that Nova wouldn't be able to see her. But the wolf knew better than that.

She sniffed the air, catching her scent. She was here.

"Don't worry! I'll tell them! They won't be mad at you..."

"But you need to say you're sorry."

When her eyes went to the side, she noticed Catra's ears fluttering.

...

A small smirk curled up on her little face as she knelt down beside Catra.

"We were just trying to have fun, Catra."

"You didn't have to hit her..." Nova paused, "Why'd you do it...?"

...

...

The feline gasped and within moments, Nova tumbled out from the space with a shout. As she sat back up, she could feel the pain centered in her face.

A few claw marks were present on her face near her nose, courtesy of Catra.

But Catra was tearing up as she sat there in the shadows, her breath shaky as she stared back at Nova.

In current day, Catra sat beside one of the windows on Prime's flagship. His armada was attacking one of the planets nearby, explosions present as many ships fired what they could.

She groaned to herself and hopped down, deciding to take a stroll through the corridors as she reflected.

At some point, she found herself at a small intersection in the halls, and there were two different paths. One was full of light, while the other was dark and dim.

She chose to go to her right, taking note of one of the clones approaching behind.

...

While her focus was on him, she waltzed on forward, and ended up running into another one of the clones.

She stepped back, hands up in a defensive stance as he stared at her.

Her brows furrowed, "Are you guys following me?"
