...

...

Catra found herself trying to help Bow make cookies for the evening. A slumber party, it was called. It confused her, but Glimmer and Adora had already given her a rundown prior so that she knew what to expect.

Since it wouldn't be happening yet, she decided to delve into baking for most of the day, since they would need the snacks to keep them all going.

Bow offered to help, to which she surprisingly agreed to.

...

It was still early in the morning, so they all had plenty of time to think of ideas on what to do during the sleepover, as well as make or get snacks in order.

"How do you do this?"

She felt she really couldn't be trusted in the kitchen. Then again, Adora couldn't be either. That's why Bow opted for Catra's help since the last time they baked it ended up in chaos when he had Adora in the kitchen.

"Here just set the dough down like so."

He showed her how to properly portion the dough sizes for each cookie, putting a small circle out for each one on the tray.

...

Catra was still uncertain, which Bow understood.

"Nova would probably have a better idea on what to do," She laughed about it.

"She always managed to sneak in contraband somehow."

...

...

Bow would have the protective mitts on and placed the tray into the oven for the cookies to bake.

"I could imagine. I remember how she was talking about blueberry pies on the ship," Bow chuckled with her.

Back after Catra was saved from Prime, Nova would occasionally bring up pastries, and go on about how she wanted to make pies and other treats for everyone, making sure to emphasize that they would have blueberries in them.

Though they didn't technically have the ingredients on board, Glimmer and the others were in full agreement.

...

But this was now the third month of Nova being gone.

Though Catra has managed to find other things to keep her occupied, that hope still remains just as strong as before. How she managed to do it, she alone knew the answer to.

Her hair had slowly started to grow back a little bit, inching down her neck. Truthfully, it would take another few months before she could tie it pack into a small ponytail.

...

...

"D'you know how long those have to be in there for?" Catra crossed her arms as Bow rubbed his hands clean of some crumbs.

"About ten minutes? I put up a timer so that way we can get it once it's done," He showed off the little ticking timer next to the oven, sitting on the countertop.

"Hey, Bow!" Glimmer walked in with Adora in tow. The blonde was holding a few blankets in her hands with a smile as they joined Bow and Catra.

"How are the snacks coming along?"

...

"They should be done soon," Catra nodded her head.

"But I'm still surprised that you don't like brownies, Adora."
