"You seem...different" Krishna noted, his voice loud enough for only Arjun to hear who teared his gaze off of his wife to look at Krishna.

"You mean happier?" Arjun returned the same roguish smile that his best friend, he once again let his eyes savour the sight of his beautiful wife who appeared to be blushing on something Satyabhama said before continuing "She has been kinder to me than I deserved to be Madhav, I wish to never let her down again, in any way"

"I wish for that too Parth" Krishna's impish smile evolved into an arcane one before his eyes darted from Arjun to Draupadi "I wish that too"

Arjun sensed the air around them grew thicker, his sharp eyes didn't miss the change in his mystical cousin's tone and felt his heart skipping a bit "What you mean Madhav? Is there any—"

"Hey Mahadev" Arjun's words were cut short by Satyas voice full of despair "You two are still talking? Are you planning to have this in tomorrow's breakfast?"

"You need to stop exaggerating everything Satya" Arjun rolled his eyes "You really—" His trailed off when his eyes caught Draupadi's miffed expression "I mean, We are just savouring the taste, slowly"

"I can't with your lies" Satya shrugged and pointed at Dhrishtadymna sitting just few feet away from them being attendant by his wife "Look at Prince Dhrishtadymna, he started with you two and is almost done"

"Parth was just telling me about the Naga woman who helped him" Krishna's defence made his friend choke on the Daal chawal he had just stuffed his mouth with

"Arjun" Draupadi immediately sat on her knees and helped him with a glass of water and caressed his back until he stopped coughing and looked at her eyes exhibiting concern as she questioned "Are you alright?"

Arjun nodded before throwing a long suffering glance at Madhav "No I was not"

"Well now that I've brought her up, tell us what really happened" Krishna winked and at that moment Arjun felt there's no one as devious as this man sitting right next to him.

Arjun side glanced at Draupadi, the poor soul was trying her best to act nonchalant but the secret glanced and fidgeted fingers screamed how much she wanted to listen to him "She helped me get to the Naga who had abducted the girl"

"And?" Satya crossed her arms over her chest

"And that's it" Arjun looked at everyone and the unconvincing facial expression made him exhale is despair "What?"

"Why would a Naga woman help you and not get anything in return?" The corner of Satya's lips curled in a teasing smirk "We all know Naga women have a soft spot for the third Pandava, is there something you are not telling us?"

"Just because I married one Naga woman doesn't mean they all have 'soft spot' for me" Arjun couldn't believe he was explaining his friends about something as unnecessarily unimportant as this "She was just a nice woman who wanted to save a girl"
