It was a beautiful day outside.

Or at least, the air was crisp and fresh as it blew into the bedroom, rustling through the curtains and the loose papers on the desk.

The breeze blew through Yeonjun's oversized clothes and his black hair, but he paid no mind to it.

He was too busy folding his clothes, placing them inside the suitcase spread out on top of the comforter.

That's the last of it.

Well, mostly.

Yeonjun sighed as he straightened his back, stretching his sore muscles from being hunched over so much, and sat down on his side of the bed.

He felt so strange, knowing this is the last time he's going to be here. His eyes wandered around the bedroom, taking in the all familiar walls, where the door was, the windows, the furniture, all the way until the nightstand beside the bed.

Which had a framed picture on it.

Yeonjun felt a pang in his chest.

Who would've thought things would've ended the way it did, Soobin.

"Hey, are you okay?" a tall lanky black haired boy asked sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck.

Yeonjun glared at him behind the bundle of tissues pressed into his bloody nose and the ice pack on his forehead, which was throbbing immensely.

"As good as I can be after a basketball was smashed into my face," he responded.

The ravenette's ears ran red, and he glanced to the side in embarrassment, before gathering enough courage to face Yeonjun again.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hit you square in the face."

"Thanks. Say, have you NEVER held a basketball before?"

"Sports are not my thing."

Yeonjun raised a brow.

"Yeah yeah, I know, I'm the tallest in our class but I can't even dribble a basketball properly and shoot a basket."

He's kinda cute, rambling like this.

The caramel haired male extended his hand.

"I'm Yeonjun. I know you don't know many people since you're new, but now you know one."

The ravenette smiled, shaking his hand.

"I'm Soobin."

Yeonjun and Soobin giggled as they ran through the hallways of their school, away from prom night, and into a classroom.

"Do you think she'll find us?!" Soobin exclaimed.

"She hates the math room so much she's never going to dare enter it again!"

He shut the door, and the two slumped against the wall, sliding down onto the floor to catch their breath.

"Are you okay?" Yeonjun asked.

Soobin, huffing hard, nodded.

"Yeah. She couldn't scratch me, you pulled me away in time."
