"It's cooold..." Grim whines as the two sweep Main Street. "I'm cold and hungry..." he whines.

"It is getting a bit cold..." Angel says as she sweeps up the trash. She noticed that even though the end of the year was coming, the campus wasn't as cold as she expected, even in her smock. In fact, it still felt fine, although the air around the two became a bit colder, mainly trying to match the weather outside of campus. She once asked Crowley about it when October was coming but it was still pretty warm, and he stated that the campus has its own weather system, in which they can control the weather; however, due to the magic necessary to maintain it, it does have it's ups-and-downs: the plus side was that thanks to the magical energy around the students, fairies, and creatures in school, it can maintain comfortable temperatures; the down side was that when there's not enough supply of magical energy, then it'll match the temperature of the air outside the school. It was a bit confusing to follow, but she understood in the end. "Wait a minute..." She says in realization. "Grim, you have fur. You should be warm..."

"Just because I have fur doesn't mean I don't get cold," he huffs. He looks at her, seeing an expectant look on her face. He knew that look. "Hey, don't get any funny ideas! I know how you are when it's cold."

"But Grim..." She whines a bit. "You're so warm since you have fur."

"But you won't let me go and cuddle me for hours!" He angrily says.

"You're just so warm..." She slightly purrs at the thought. Maybe she'll get him when he least expects it.

"Hey, focus on your job!" Grim states with a huff, reminding her about the trash. She got a bag and dustpan and swept it up, carefully positioning it to be dumped in the bag. She sighed in relief at the work, seeing that thanks to both of their efforts, they finished earlier than expected, something that only happens when Grim is in a good mood to hurry up back to the dorm. Maybe it was because he was both cold and hungry that he wanted to hurry up. Good thing she had a plan for dinner tonight, shame that it was going to take a while to make, however.

"Oh, Angel and Grim," a voice calls out to the two, getting their attention as they see Deuce walking towards them. "You two are doing cleaning duty today?"

"Oh, hey, it's Deuce," Grim says as he walks to him. "It's weird seein' you leave school this late."

"There's no track practice today and well, I had to stay for Housewarden Roseheart's lessons," he sighs.

"Uh huh, and did it stick?" Grim curiously asks.

"Not one thing," he sighs defeatedly.

"I knew it," Grim sighs. "When Riddle teaches, it's like I can't understand half the words he's saying. He's even worse than Trien."

"That's because he can collar you if you don't pay attention, Grim," Deuce states.

"You're no better!" Grim retorts. "Your grades are as bad as mine!"

Angel watched the two with their back and forth and focused on finishing up cleaning. Once she tied the bag tightly, she sighed in relief, glad that the work was finally done. This got Deuce's attention as he looked at her. "Oh, Angel, need help with the bag?" He asks. "It looks a little heavy."

"No, it's fine," she says as a group of brooms walk towards her. She smiled at them and they bowed, or at least from what she thinks, and they happily picked up the bag, carrying it away from the trio. "The broomsticks can take care of it. Thanks for asking though," she giggles.

Deuce blushes at the attempt, realizing that the brooms around campus would help out with cleaning instead of letting them do all the work. "Ah, right," he says in embarrassment. "Anyway, since you guys are done, want to head to Sam's? I'm thinking about heading over there to get some things before heading back to the dorm."
