"Alright, guys!" Vargas shouted out to the students. "Today, we have a joint class with Class 1-B to test the mettle. I hope you all are ready to push yourselves to the limit. Though this class will be a free reign class, I will watch everyone's performance to see how much you all have improved. This can vary between group activities such as soccer or individual activities such as running, as long as I can gauge your progress, that's all that matter, and that does include muscle mass," he flexes and the students only sigh at him. "I'll give you all a bit of time to settle in, but know this: if you're not moving, then you're not gaining anything!"
"Yes, sir!" The students exclaim and soon enough, Vargas blows the whistle, signaling the start of class. Students quickly scramble to other students, trying to get ready for whatever Vargas has for them.
"He said it's free reign whatever we do, right?" Ace says as he looks around the students.
"Yeah," Epel says as everyone settles in, some making teams for a game while others plan for a jog around the field.
"I don't know about you four, but I'm gonna do some laps," Jack says. "No used being held back."
"Yeah, that might be good," Deuce says in thought. "This could be the perfect time to try and improve my time!"
"Of course you two muscleheads to try and do something lame like running," Ace sighs. "Come on guys, we rarely have class together. How bout we do something together, like a game or something?"
"Like what?" Deuce asks. Jack and Epel interest was perked as well, mainly with Jack sighing before listening.
"I don't know," he says as he scratches his head. "How bout soccer?"
"Wouldn't that be a bit unfair?" Epel asks. "I mean, Deuce and Jack are on the Track and Field Team, and more than likely, we won't be able to catch up to them."
"What about Spelldrive?" Deuce proposes. "I mean, it might be fair for us to do that."
"And go over the freshmen terrors over here?!" Ace exclaims, pointing at Epel and Jack. "Yeah, no thanks. It's enough we got our butts handed to us by Jack during the Spelldrive Tournament, and Epel here is part of the Spelldrive team. I heard how he is during practice." He shudders.
"Yeah, Epel is a quick one," Jack smirks. "Way too fast than you two during Spelldrive."
"That's true," Deuce agrees. "I remember briefly seeing him in the tournament. He was fast and a good blocker."
"Well, shucks guys," Epel chuckles. "You're gonna make me blush."
"Hmmm..." Ace hums in thought. "We need something that we all don't really have an advantage too. It can't be anything with track and field, spelldrive, or basketball," he lists off. "Oh, I know!" He exclaims. "What about that sport Angel talked about before?"
"Sport?" Jack asks, confused by the idea.
"Oh yeah!" Deuce says in realization. "What was it called again? Hoofsball or something?"
"It's football," Ace corrects.
"Football?" Epel asks in confusion. "I've never heard of it before."
"Yeah, me neither," Jack adds. "If it's football, isn't that just soccer?"
"From what Angel said, it actually resembles spelldrive, just without magic," Ace recalls.
"So it's a sport from her world," Jack says, only to realize what he said. "I-I mean..."
"Don't worry, Epel knows about her situation," Deuce speaks up. "Vil had us at least introduce ourselves and she decided to tell them about it."
"It was all hard to understand," Epel says as he recalled the conversation, "but I understood it at the end. It was more of a surprise that so many people know about it."
