A/N: I know a lot has happened this first month of the new year, but I just wanted to tell everyone here that as a country, we are stronger united, and my heart and prayers go with those affected by the events that has occurred so far (California wildfires, New Orleans shooting, Nashville shooting, snow across the country, and even those still processing Trump's inauguration). Remember, those events might affect us, just know that we are stronger together, even if we're scattered across the world. We are here to help each other out, one way or another!
This side story is a sequel to "They're Just Roommates" and based on The Beautiful Tyrant Chapter 22
"You guys can choose any rooms on the second and third floor," Angel says to the group. "Just remember that the room by the stairs on the second floor is me and Grim's room. You guys are welcome to choose any room you see fit," she smiles.
"Then I call the one near Angel's room!" Kalim happily says as he heads up first.
"Kalim, wait!" Jamil sighs and start to head after him. "At least let me inspect the room before you reside in it." He stops and looks at Angel. "Not to doubt your dorm, Angel."
"It's fine," she says with a smile. "I think you might be better off spotting anything that might hurt or danger Kalim than I am."
He nods in understanding and continues to go after him. She looks to the others. "Anyone else?"
"Then I'll reside in the room on the third floor," Rook happily states. "To see beauty from the highest point is always the best!"
"Okay then," she says. "Take your pick then. I'll come up later after practice to check up on you. Oh, do you have any idea of where Vil would be in?"
"I'm sure I know exactly what room he would be in," Rook smiles at her and for some odd reason, she felt a bit of a shiver down her neck. "However, he is one to make surprises every now and then, so I'll let him choose himself. That's the beauty of Vil after all."
"Haha..." Angel awkwardly laughs. "I'm sure he'll find a good room." Rook nods at her and carry his stuff up the stairs. She turned to the remaining three. "So, what about you two?" She asks Ace and Deuce. "Should I get the usual room ready?"
"Huh?" Epel asks in confusion. "Usual room?"
"Yeah, sometimes we stay at Annie's place here every now and then," Ace explains. "Since she didn't have many rooms available for us to stay in, me and Deuce usually shared a room."
"The rooms here are pretty big enough to room two people," Deuce states. "However, since it's just Angel and Grim in the dorm, the rooms are pretty much unused. Not that I'm complaining. Having a room to yourself is pretty nice."
"It's better than the four person rooms back in our dorm," Ace sighs. "Too many bodies in one room, in my opinion."
"Oh, I never knew," Epel says.
"Anyway, we're thinking about our own rooms," Ace tells her. "It's enough that I have to look at Deuce's face everyday, and sharing a room for a month wouldn't be good."
"H-hey!" Deuce glares. "I don't have to see your ugly face either! At least I don't have to hear music blasting in my ears when I'm trying to sleep!"
"And I don't have to listen to your dreadful snoring!" Ace angrily retorts. "I swear, your snoring can wake up the entire dorm!"
"Don't complain about my snoring! I don't see you doing better!"
"It's better than hacking up noise in the middle of the night!"
The three watch the two bicker, a sigh escaping from Angel. "It's fine," she tells Epel. "They're just like this constantly."
"Almost everyday," Grim adds, crossing his paws.
