Jamahl and I are a rather tough couple sometimes. I have a 7 year old boy, Joshua, and a 5 year old girl, Riley. I love them with all of my heart. It took Jamahl and I some time to get married but we did about a year after we had Joshua. I didn't think he'd ever marry me but we did it. I am still at the hospital working in the ER unit. Jamahl and King are in business together, they have a management company for all kinds of celebrities. They are actually pretty successful since we are out here in California.

I came home for my lunch break so I could rest up a bit because I am beyond tired. Between handling those kids and these weird hour jobs, I need all the rest I can get. I'm glad it's Friday because I'll be off all weekend.

"Baby!" Jamahl said jumping in the bed on top of me.

"Jamahl leave me alone, I'm tired." I said trying to push him off me.

"Aw, so you don't want to give me no kind of loving?" he said kissing on me.

"No, you need to make sure you pick Josh and Riley up today."

"Damn bae, why you didn't tell me this shit last night or something. I'm gonna be busy around that time."

I look at him like he's crazy.

"Since when are busy around 2:40?" I question.

"I have a meeting with a client today, shit pops up." He says moving off of me.

"I can't leave work that soon Jamahl, I'm on my only break right now."

He sighs. "You need to hire a nanny."

"I'm not hiring a nanny to raise our damn kids. You always are able to pick them up around that time, why the hell is there a problem now?"

"Baby I just told you what was up, we need a nanny or somebody because we always working. I'll find one you know I will."

I sighed. "I don't think that's a good idea."

"Yeah, I think it is. I'm always out working and you got crazy ass shifts. You need to put some thought into. I guess I'm gonna have to reschedule this shit because I'm not gonna leave my kids sitting up at the school lost."

"You know you stress me out." I said rolling my eyes at him as I got up and walked to our bathroom.

"You love me though." He said grabbing my waist.

"Who'd you have to meet with today anyways?" I asked.

"New client, Sapphire." he simply said.

"What does she do?" I ask turning and looking at him.

"Music and acting."

"Oh, is she young and fresh?"

"Baby what's up with all these questions? I don't wanna talk about work right now. I'm at the crib."

"I just wanna know a little something about the clients just in case I meet them." I say smiling.

"I'm about to head out, I got a few things to go handle before I get back to the office." He said grabbing my chin and kissing my lips.

"Alright, I'll see you when you get home."

"Love you Indie."

"Love you too baby." I said getting back into bed to take a quick nap.
