Jailee and I were walking around the mall shopping and finally enjoying our summer vacation. We'll be seniors in August. I'm so excited.

"I'm going on a date tonight." Jailee said smiling as she played with her natural curls.

I smirked. "With who?"

"Don't try to play me Alyssa, it's the same guy. He didn't tell me what we were doing but that he wanted to take me some place."

"I hope you enjoy it and don't do anything I wouldn't do."

She laughed. "I'm pretty sure you and Chance do a lot."

"We really don't. I don't know why people think otherwise." I said.

"He really loves you Alyssa. I know we're young but that boy is crazy about you and you haven't even had sex with him. I think that's pretty damn good. Y'all are such a cute couple."

I blushed. "He's a great boyfriend and I love him too."

"I need to find something to wear tonight. I want something cute but appropriate. These kids wear anything these days. I don't want to look like a whore." Jailee said dead serious.

I burst out laughing at her. "What the hell Jai? Seriously?"

"Yes Alyssa. You have to leave something for the imagination. You should know that."

"I do know that but we'll find something." I told her as I stopped at a mirror and glanced at myself.

I looked hella cute. I had on my white high top converse, destroyed blue jean shorts and a white loose fitted crop top. I followed Jailee into H&M, as we began searching around my phone rang.

Jailee laughed and rolled her eyes playfully because we both knew it was Ry.

"Hey babe." I said answering as I sipped on my mocha frappé from Starbucks.

"You be waiting on me to call, don't you?" Ryan said laughing.

I grinned. "Of course, I be missing you like crazy."

"I be missing you too. What are you up to?" He asked.

"Shopping with Jailee at the mall. I'm helping her pick out something for her date tonight."

"Don't lie to him, you're not helping at all." Jailee said smiling.

"Damn y'all always together now." Ryan said.

"She's my only friend."

He laughed. "Yeah I know."

"Babe.." I spoke into the phone.

I couldn't stop cheesing.

"What's up Alley Kat?" He said.

"I want to be with you today."

"Don't your friend need you right now?"

"Yes, but that's just for now. Will you come get me? I'll love you forever."

"Yeah, let me know whenever you done chilling with your friend and I'll come thru."

"I love you Ryan." I said.

"I love you too. I gotta run a few errands before I come by so I'll talk to you later."

"Okay, see you later." I said hanging up.

"You wanna help me now? I'm struggling." Jailee said laughing.

"Yes, sorry about that. My baby called."
