[Christmas Eve]

"Baby." Ezra said to me from the bathroom.

I was laying in bed watching tv because I have been cooking all day plus running to stores with him to get last minute gifts. Tired isn't even the word that can explain how I'm feeling.

"Yes?" I said.

"You know the entire family will be here tomorrow right?"

"Yes baby, what about them?" I questioned.

"It's not exactly about them...I don't know what to do, I'm just right in the middle of some shit." Ezra said sighing and walking out of the bathroom.

"Tell me what's wrong babe." I said smiling and holding my arms out for him to come lay with me.

He stared at me for a moment then walked over and climbed between my legs then laid his head on my chest.

"I don't know what to fucking do."

"Baby tell me so I can at least try to help."

"King wants to bring Miranda over here tomorrow. He says that's his woman and he feel like he should be able to bring her. I don't want to do that to Brea." Ezra said sighing.

My eyes were just wide. I can't believe King would do some shit like that. He's making me really dislike him and the fact that he's trying to bring E into his mess is stupid and childish of him.

"Are you serious?"

"Yeah baby, if I say no then he gonna think I'm siding with Bre and my loyalty is with her. If I say yes then Brea gonna think I'm siding with King. I don't want to be in the middle of this shit. I don't, it's fucking stressing me out."

"It's going to be okay babe, I really don't know what to tell you because they are both your friends but at the same time...you just do what you feel is right. I personally would not want him bringing her over here because the wound is still open. It's only been a few weeks. One of them will be mad at you maybe but you can't please everyone. I'm behind whatever decision you make." I told him.

"I mean if he is going to bring her then I don't want any bullshit, tomorrow is Christmas and I just want to be chilling with my family and close friends. I know it'll bother Brea though."

"It may not bother her as much, she's doing a lot better than I expected. It may bother her if he does come but she's been a little pre-occupied also, I wouldn't be surprised if she showed up with someone on her arm."

Ezra looked up at me confused. "You know something I don't?"

I laughed. "Well, I mean...Brea is going to be okay."
