14 ● Safe Haven ●

I'm sitting here, in my room, wondering if the end of the world is nearing because of all of these votes I'm suddenly getting. XD

Lumi's pov.

I've been doing this for two hours and exhaustion is already starting to show.

Kakashi put me move several lumps of earth at the same time and gradually add mass to them.

It took me some time to grasp the technique, but it's going surprisingly well.

I'm currently doing zigzags with ten earth balls that each weigh about 3 kilograms. Kakashi denied me from doing circles saying it would be too easy and I think he was right.

It takes a lot of work from my brain to move them all in differently. I can already feel a headache coming.

Let's try to speed things up a little, before resting.

I made the balls fly at faster pace little by little so it was easier to control.

This is quite fun. I thought with a smile.

Naruto's pov.

Aargh... this is hard! But I'm not giving up! Heroes never give up!

"Naruto! Let's go get Lumi and go to eat. I think Tsunami-san has made some supper to eat already." Kakashi sensei said interrupting my concentration just when I was getting a little higher on the tree this time. I fell to the ground and got a new bump to my head.

Headache!

"But what about the training?!" I exclaimed holding my head.

"Let's take it a little easier on your first day. Tomorrow you can train as long and as hard as you want. I made Sasuke and Sakura already go to Tazuna's house. We only need to get Lumi."

While I rubbed my head we went to get her. She's not far, just behind the tree line, but I've been training so hard I haven't had the time to look away from that stupid tree I've been climbing.

Now that I think about it. How is it possible that she can't use chatra or chakra or whatever it was called? She even got the bells in the bell test. She couldn't possibly have done it without that thing.

"It seems that she improved quite a bit just in one day." Sensei said, interrupting my thoughts.

I looked to the way he was looking at and saw Lumi sitting on the ground while some rocks were flying everywhere around her.

I couldn't even count how many rocks there was because they were moving too fast.

How is she able to do that?! I want to learn that too!

Without thinking I yelled her name. "Lumi!"

From that, things went quite bad. She seemed to be startled by my voice and lost the control of the rocks.

They went flying everywhere! Some flew straight to the ground, creating craters. Few came towards us at high speed and I paniced. I cant dodge it!

Kakashi suddenly pulled me down just as one of the rocks flew past my head and hit the tree behind us with a loud crash, breaking down the tree.

There was few more of those sounds of trees being broken to splinters, but then I heard an exclamation of pain.

Lumi got hit.

Quickly with Kakashi sensei we went to Lumi after all the rocks had crashed.

The woods looked quite destroyed and there were a lot of craters on the ground but I was more concerned about Lumi now than my surroundings.
