Hey everyone!

Anyone watch the new Haikyuu episode? I did and I loved it.

Way to come back for a second season!

~Evyn's POV~

I sat down on a sofa, crossing my right leg over my left.

After a few minutes of waiting, I saw her enter the lobby, a smile on her face.

Getting up, I matched her smile and gave her a hug.

"Hey! It's been a while," Lucy said, taking a seat on the sofa, and motioning for me to do the same.

I did and then turned around to face her.

"Sure has. How are things going with Natsu?" I asked.

"I don't know," she admitted, shaking her head.

"Still hasn't confessed?" I asked.

Even though I was the one who broke up with Lucy, I felt regret everyday. But I did it so she could be with the person who she actually wanted to be with.

And that person wasn't me.

Lucy shook her head and sighed, running her hand through her hair. "I don't even know what we are anymore."

"Be patient. It takes us guys longer to figure out our feelings."

"Yeah but how long?"

"He'll get to it, he's just denser than the rest, so he needs more time to figure out what he's feeling."

"You got that right," she muttered.

I chuckled, taking her hand in mine.

"Once he realizes it, he'll be head over heels for you, trust me."

"How do you know?" she whispered, looking up at me.

"Because I used to be like that," I answered, smiling.

"Used to?"

I shrugged. "Don't know if I still am."

"I'm sorry Evyn."

"What are you apologizing for? I'm the one that broke up with you, remember?"

Lucy shook her head. "You told me that you did it for me. What does that mean?"

"When it's time, you'll know exactly what I meant," I assured her.

"But I wanna know now!" she whined.

I couldn't help but chuckle at her childish side.

"Aren't you living the hard life?" I said, sarcastically.

"That I am," she muttered.

"One more thing," she said, looking up at me.

"Hmm?"

"Are you okay?"

I let out a laugh. "What do you mean?"

"You looked broken when you broke up me," she said, looking me right in the eyes.

"That's why they call it 'breaking up'."

Lucy lightly slapped my arm. "Answer my question."

I sighed, running my hand through my hair. "Of course I was hurt because I didn't want to break up with you, but I couldn't let myself see you like that anymore."
