Rika's POV

All of us stood in the dark and I sang out in one strong chorus that echoed off into silence.

I sang again out into the silence with no background music, just my own strong voice ringing out into the silence. My heard was beating so fast I was almost worried the microphone might have picked it up. 

The lights slowly flashed on one by one on the Bangtan boys starting from the ones standing on the outside into the middle at the bottom of the stage. The light wouldn't shine on me just yet. My heart was beating so quickly in anticipation, thumping in my ears. 

I watched as they transitioned into their Boy in Love choreography and I continued to harmonise with their singing as I stayed quietly in the dark. The funny thing was, all this time singing for Hyorin I had been hidden in the shadows, only with my voice singing out. This was such an odd parallelism.

They started to rap, so this was my cue to stop singing and run down the stairs and stand behind the pillar that, if I moved either way, would show me to the audience. I nearly tripped in my excitement and nervousness.
