Lucy's P.O.V

Louis was the last person to speak. "So after days of discussions, and the last decision made today our winner is......"

There was a huge pause.....

I couldn't stand the pause any longer.

"Congratulations Lucy Kate Devon!" Louis spoke as the rest of the boys joined in to announce my name.

I raised my hands to my face and cupped my mouth. "Oh. My. God." I whispered to myself. All 5 Boys got up and gave me a group hug. When we released from the hug, Niall Handed me a bunch of beautiful Roses. How cute is he; obviously they were from them all though.

I went to hug Jessica. "Congratulations Lucy. You deserve it." I gave her a genuine smile. "And you and Niall will last forever." she whispered into my ear.

I backed from the hug and held her shoulders, looking straight into her eyes. "Thank you Jess. This isn't the end of your career. Coming runner up doesn't always mean that you have landed back at square one; You heard what the lads said. You get all the publicity of your music. I really hope we keep in contact Jessica."

I think sometimes I am too nice to people. I really do. For what she has put me through over the last few days and I still want to keep in contact with her; am I for real! I turned to look at the boys and they were talking to the camera with a producer asking them questions. Liam saw me looking at them."Lucy. Over here." I slowly walked up to them. "Here she is. The worthy winner!" I looked Liam in the eyes. The biggest smile appeared on my face; but I felt shy in front of the camera.

Apart from handing me the roses, Niall had not said a word to me. I was staying quiet on the interview until I was asked a question; Niall wasn't saying alot either. Did he not want me to win?

"So Lucy, What does it feel like to win?" the interviewers voice stopped my trail of thought.

"Erm.." Processing the question. "It feels, erm, amazing! I can't believe it. erm, I really didn't expect it. Jessica is an amazing artist as well, erm, it must have been a close call-"

"That's what you might think Luce, Although you were both amazing, you have always been our winner from the beginning!" Harry placed is arm around my shoulder.

"Wow." that really threw me. "Well. I don't know what to say. Erm, Thanks guys!" the biggest smile appeared on my face! I felt a hand apon the bottom of my back, I traced the arm upto their face. It took me to surprise of that it was Niall. He moved his thumb up and down to make me less nervous. It seemed to work. The rest of my answers to the questions that the interviewer asked came easy and natural. I stood and talked to the interviewer for a few minutes before I was pulled to talk to another camera, and then another one.

Niall's P.O.V

Lucy wandered off to leave us to talk to the interviewer privately, and so that she could do a separate interview. All of a sudden, I heard a familiar voice. "Have you guys missed me?" It was Simon Cowell.

"Of course Uncle Si!" Louis ran upto him giving him a manly hand shake. He didnt particularly like us calling him Uncle Si, especially when the cameras were about; but we got away with it this time.

"Where is she? My amazing winner?-" Simon looked round to find Lucy. She was stood with Jessica having an interview with a magazine company, of which I didn't recognise. "Lucy?" She turned her head, looked at Simon. Her jaw dropped.

"Erm, Hello-"

"Hello my dear! It's so nice to finally meet you! The boys have told me all about you! I can't wait to start to get to work with you to develop your music!"

Me and the lads had explain everything about all the contestants to Simon over skpe as he hasn't been there during the majority of the process. Simon took Lucy to one side and had a private conversation.

I felt like we needed to go see Jessica and wish her good luck for her future career;

"Niall?" I turned my head to the rest of the boys, "Where is Jess?" Harry asked confused. I searched around the room to find her. She couldn't be seen. Lucy walked towards us. "Lucy have you seen Jess?" Harry address the question.

"No. I've been with Simon. I haven't got a clue."

"Jess isn't our winner so we don't need to focus of her. Boys, as you know you start tour in  

two weeks; and as much as I would like Lucy to support you, they have already been sorted. So, I want Lucy to do her own tour along side some of your UK tour.-"

"What? My own tour? I can't cope with that, how am I going to sell tickets in 2 weeks?-" Lucy began to panic.

"Lucy calm down, we've already sorted It and tickets have already go on sale. The lads will announce the tour on their profiles so people will obviously love to come. We had to make a decision before you confirmed to do it, so I'm afraid you've got no choice.-"

Lucy's face was emotionless.

Lucy's P.O.V

I had no choice on whether I wants to tour or not. I began to panic. "Simon as amazing as it is, I can't do it. No set list, no routines, no practice, no promotion, no preparation at all!"

Niall placed his hands on my shoulders. His beautiful eyes gazing into mine. "Lucy. Ourselves and Simon will work with you to prepare yourself for this awesome opportunity! Trust me. It will be the best thing you can do to fully start your career!"
