Katrina:

I was in my dreamless sleep.

I was happy and I didn't need to move now, I didn't need to worry about anything.

I was free in my own mind.

I had no worries, everything was how it should be.

Even though, I knew some things could never be altered. I was stuck.

I needed to stay calm and relaxed.

I needed to work out my priorities.

I needed to be at peace.

I wanted to be free.

Free of my captures and free of this body.

I wanted to be away from all of this. To never look back. But I knew that this wasn't an option. I would end up going back.

I would have no choice.

...

I didn't have a choice.

So when sleeping you would think that I was at rest.

I say dreamless like it is true but it is another lie.

I am in hell... In my nightmares.

*****

I was running for my life.

The ice-cold chains wrapped around my ankle and kept me from running fast.

I needed to escape.

I couldn't be here.

I didn't want to be.

I was in the ice land.

I was back in Jotunheim.

He took pleasure in tracking me down, he had always enjoyed a good hunt.

"Katrina... Oh Katrina," the voice calls.

"I will find you, you can't hide from me," the voice sings out.

Shivers of fear ran down my spine as I continued to run. I was losing breath and hope. I still carried on. I hadn't a choice. I needed to run for my life. I needed to stay alive.

"I will find you..." the voice calls out.

My lungs were burning and I needed to change.

I had no choice.

I close my eyes and stop for a second. But thinking again I would have to transform when running, it would be faster.

I could sense that my eyes were changing into a brighter colour.

My bones were ripping and snapping into my new form.

I cried out in pain.

I fell to my knees only to find two large paws.

I look down and turn my head.

Taking no chances I ran.

My legs made me go faster as my speed increased. I growl as the chain still burned on my fur.

"Found you..."

Those two words sent me flying across the forest and me bashing into a tree.

I hit my head rather hard and I could smell the metallic liquid dripping from my head.

I groan in pain and hiss as I heard the oncoming footsteps.
