Asleep... [Kenai]

You rustled down into your mat snuggly placed on the floor. "Y/n!" You heard shouting from ouside and you quickly scrambled up and peeked outside the tent, The stars were alined in the dark pools of the sky.What you saw was your current lover, Kenai, outside playing with Coda on his stomach.

"Seriously Kenai? You should be going to bed." He kept laughing.

"He's tickling me! Help!" You harshly glance at them and then softly smile, walking down the grass to the two of them sprawled out on the ground. You followed the moons light to them both laying on the dirt and rolling around. "You really are an idiot." You say laughing. He smiles. "I'm your idiot though."

You sigh. "Unfortunately..." Coda stops and the young bear runs over to you brushing up against your leg. "Why did you say 'unfortunately' ?!" You laugh and shake your head leaning down to pick up the young cub, holding him in your arms. "I was joking!" He stares at you, like you were joking. "What?"

"Nothing."

"Then why are you staring at me?"

He chuckles. "Can I not look at my girlfriend?"

"Touché." He walks back over to you and the bear and all of you hed back inside the tent. Kenai ties the front shut and sits by you and Coda, wrapping his arm round you. "Hey kenai?"

"Yeah?"

"What was it like to be a bear?"

He sighs. "You've asked me this every night." You smile. "I know...I just like the story." He sighs and starts the story.

time skip of laziness~

"-And that's how Coda swam with salmon." You frown. "Wrong story babe." He rolls his eyes and groans. "Sorry...." You shake your head. "You just need to take a nap ya' big ol' bear." He laughs and lies down next to you.
"Hey y/n?"

"Yeah?"

You roll over to face him. "Do you ever wonder what it would be like I-"

"If we never met? Never. I don't even want to have the slightest thought of it." He smiles. "Good." He sighs. "That's good." You chuckle and flip around slowly with a sleepy Coda in your arms. Slowly you feel Kenai's arms wrap around you and pull you close to his body, and out of instinct you snuggle into him and smile. "Goodnight." He whispers.

"Goodnight..."
