Chapter 7

JASMINE'S P.O.V.
Once we arrive at school there are a lot of people staring at me.

"Shawn?"I ask.

"Yeah?"

"Do you notice people are staring at me?"I ask.

"Yeah, but it's fine let's just a go to our lockers and head to class,"Shawn says.

We go to our lockers and we grab the things that we need. I close my locker door and see Mckenzie standing there.

"What do you want Mckenzie?"I ask with no emotion.

"Just wondering how you're feeling since Kyle dumped you,"She says smiling.

"I'm doing just fine,"I say.

"Are you sure?"She asks.

"Yes."

"So you didn't cry like a baby?"She asks.

"Leave her alone Mckenzie,"Shawn says from behind me.

"Oh hey Shawn, I didn't see you there."She says.

We all know you did he's a freaking skyscraper how can you now see him. I wanna hit her so bad.

"Bye Mckenzie,"Shawn says and grabs my hand and starts walking.

I look back to see Mckenzie glaring at me.

"Why did you pull me away, I was about to hit her,"I say.

"Yeah right."

"Well I wanted to,"I say.

"There's no point of talking to her, she's just trying to get to you."

"I know."

We finally arrive at class and the whole class is stating at me. Well the people that are here.

"Oh my god,"I mumble and hurry up and sit down.

"So you and Kyle broke up?"Lauren asks and I nod.

"Wait you guys broke up?"Brian asks.

"Yes Brian,"Shawn says and gives him an annoyed look.

"Yes!"He says and fist pumps the air and I roll my eyes.

"You're not actually sad are you?"Brian asks.

"No it's just that people are staring at me and Mckenzie came up to talk to me this morning. I'm just ready to leave,"I say and put my head down.

It's the end of the day and Shawn and I are at our lockers. Just then Mckenzie and her group comes up and Shawn looks so annoyed and pissed.

"What do you want Mckenzie?"I ask closing my locker.

"Just wanted to let you know, Kyle and I are dating,"She smiles and the rest of her group smirks.

"I don't care,"I say.

"You will eventually,"She says.

"Whatever,"I say and grab Shawn's hand and walk out the school.

"So Kyle broke up with you for Mckenzie. Not surprising at all,"Shawn said.

"All that makeup and all those extensions. This is prison not a fashion show,"I say.

"Prison,"He laughs.

"You know it's true,"I say and he nods.

"Wanna do homework at my house?"He asks.

"Sure,"I say and continue to walk home.

"JASMINE!"Aaliyah says when Shawn and I walk through the door.
